Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Eurvicscire Mysteries Walkthrough

November 9, 2020 by FranciRoosters 18 Comments

Eurvicscire contains 16 Mysteries in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla (ACV). This Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Eurvicscire Mysteries Walkthrough will guide you through all Mystery Locations in the Eurvicscire Territory. None of the Mysteries are missable, you can still find everything in free-roam after the story. It’s recommended to collect everything as you go through the regions to level up.

Mysteries get marked by blue icons on the world map automatically when synchronizing the viewpoints. Mysteries are side quests and other open world encounters. Finishing all Mysteries is needed to complete all Territories for the Completionist All the Way! trophy or achievement.

Also in this region:

  • Eurvicscire Wealth
  • Eurvicscire Artifacts

Mystery #1: Legendary Animal (The Blood Swine)

Kill the boar.

Mystery #2: World Event (Art-Scop)

Talk to the bard. Pay him to conclude this Mystery. If you want you can get your coins back by stealing them from him.

Mystery #3: World Event (Historia de Cordibus Pathetic)

Talk to the woman. Choose “Speak of his strength and beauty” to end the Mystery.

Mystery #4: Treasure of Britain

Enter Wiccan’s Cave. Climb the wall on the right and use the ledges to continue forward. When you get to a cave with a tree, head left, shimmy along the ledge, then from the tree branches make your way to the right of the cave. Keep going from ledge to ledge until you can continue through the cave corridors. You’ll eventually reach what looks to be a witch’s lair. Here is an ice wall you can break. Climb through the wall alcove and you’ll get to a new area with a room with chickens on the right and a crevice to slide under on the left. Enter the room with the chickens, kill them, and from the barred door shoot an arrow at the oil jar on the other side to destroy the wall. Now, slide under the crevice and kill the boars. Approach the gated door and shoot an arrow at the door lock to enter the room with the tablet.

Mystery #5: Cairn

Here’s a possible solution.

Mystery #6: World Event (Sunken Hope)

Talk to the girl in the water. She wants you to find her father. Dive into the water and you should see a set of stairs leading down (use your Odin’s Sight to find the father). Collect the loot and return to the daughter to give it to her. Then it’s up to you to tell the girls the truth or not.

Mystery #7: Animus Anomaly

Complete the platforming challenge.

Mystery #8: Lost Drengr

Defeat the Drengr and speak to him again when you’ve defeated him. Then, confirm the kill.

Mystery #9: Fly Agaric

Defeat the enemies.

Mystery #10: Offering Altar

To complete this Mystery, you need 5 Fabric. These are easily found all over the world in small wealth chests. Note: prior to Patch 1.04 there was a bug that stopped Fabric from spawning after having fully upgraded the Quiver and Rations Pouch. This has been fixed with Patch 1.04 (so if you have this issue, update your game).

Mystery #11: World Event (Dellingr Rabbit)

Talk to the man by the rabbit. Just win the beating.

Mystery #12: Flyting

For this Flyting always pick the first option to win:

  • I must remind you of your mother!
  • Now to look upon you leaves both my eyes in pain.
  • Try saying that again, but uncocking your eyes.

Mystery #13: World Event (Crushed Dreams)

Interact with the written note near the rock and then make your way to the nearby village of Picheringa. By the market is a woman mentioning her husband. Talk to her to give her the bad news. Then it’s up to you to decide to either give her the ring or keep it.

Mystery #14: World Event (The Village: Jurthgard)

As soon as you arrive at this Mystery’s marker, you should see a running woman. Chase her and she’ll eventually stop in a house. Choose whichever option you want to end this Mystery.

Mystery #15: Standing Stones

First, break the ice on the floor directly south of the Standing Stones. This will open up a pit in the ground. Walk into it to align the symbol. Here’s the solution.

Mystery #16: Lost Drengr

Defeat the Drengr and speak to him again when you’ve defeated him. Then, confirm the kill.

That’s 100% of the Mysteries you can find in Eurvicscire Region of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla (ACV).

For all other Mysteries check out the complete Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Mysteries Guide. For the other Collectibles in this region check out the Wealth Guide and Artifacts Guide.

Beware of (probably) bug with Mystery #10, where you need to donate 5 fabric. Once you fully upgrade both pouches, you will no longer obtain fabric from chest (at least in my case). Thus you cannot complete this mystery! Powerpyx, can you confirm if you get more fabric once both pouches are fully upgraded?

I’m looking into this. Added a warning at the start of the guide and on that collectible while I investigate.
This seems like an oversight by the devs or a bug.
In the meantime, if anyone else here can confirm whether or not they still get fabric after buying all upgrades that’d be good.

Can you check if Fabric is available for purchase at your settlement’s merchant for you?

I can confirm the mystery #10 fabric bug. Also, it appears as if there’s only a certain number of fabric that you can possibly get in the game, as I was able to do the offering but now I’m permanently 5 fabric short of the final upgrade for my quiver but I can’t her fabric from chests anymore.

Same thing happened here, I have 28 fabric stored up, and chests that I assume would have had it in (~100 iron/leather in every one) now don’t.

So there is literally exactly enough available to fully upgrade both pouches, and no more. Which seems a pretty awful oversight really.

Yeah confirm bug, seems they only put a certain amount in. Once you fully upgrade you can’t get fabric, other reports say if you use fabric on alter you can’t fully upgrade.

As of today (23 Nov 20) the linen issue remains and is preventing platinum (PS4 at least). To restate in the case someone reads this and doesn’t understand what I am referring to: It appears there is a set amount of linen in the game and once the player obtains that set amount the smaller chests no longer award any linen at all thus preventing either an inability to fully upgrade your quiver/ration bag OR thus preventing the ability to complete Offering Alter #10 on this guide.

Powerpyx, you obviously have a podium and pull so if you wouldn’t mind and if you have the chance, could you complain to Ubisoft to get this remedied? I have done so already but it would be fixed much faster if someone with your pull asked for it. Thanks much (if possible).

Ubi are aware of it. We can only wait for a patch now.

On the Mystery #3 you need to investigate the area. Using Odin’s sight will highlight the ale barrels to the left and if she talks about them he will open the door and ask who said the words and you have a choice to lie and say the young lady did or say you did. I chose to lie and she was happy and gave me some “trinkets”.

If you follow the rabbit after completing Mystery #11, it will lead you to a treasure.

Patch 1.0.4 has fixed the fabric issue. It’s added other issues related to 100%, but at least that’s fixed I guess.

Do we need %100 wealth for each region for a trophy as well as Mysteries?

For mystery #3, while the option given here will indeed end the event, it isn’t the best course… You should actually pick the other option and look around. There’s a large keg of meade to the left of the woman and a letter on the table to her right which can be interacted with. Once you’ve done so, go back to her and a new option to “praise his brewer skills” will have appeared. Choose this one and he will open the door and she’ll reward you with a brooch…

And for mystery #11, after beating the man, even though the event is indeed over, you can approach and then follow the rabbit to a small niche in the rocks where you’ll find a small reward.

Updated the Guide for Patch 1.04.
The Altar that requires 5 Fabric is no longer missable (as of Patch 1.04, Fabric keeps spawning even after fully upgrading the Quiver & Rations pouches).

For mystery 3, you can choose the “praise his ale” option and say that you gave her the words and the man will be disappointed in her. He will invite Eivor inside for some fun times and then lets you raid his house…
