Crimson Desert Pursuit Beyond the Veil Walkthrough

Pursuit Beyond the Veil is the 132nd main mission in Crimson Desert. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Pursuit Beyond the Veil main quest.

Starting Location: Demeniss > Hexe Sanctuary
Chapter: 9 – The Sage of the Desert
Sub-Chapter: Veiled Witch
Requirement: Finished previous main quest Fragments of Darkness
Reward: None
Quest Description: By destroying the stone tower, Hexe Marie’s energy has been scattered. The traces leading to her sanctuary can be tracked.

Objectives:

Destroy the totem at Hollow Haven
Destroy the totem at the Forgotten Tomb
Destroy the totem at Clay Urn Necropolis
Destroy the totem at Brimstone Springs

How to Destroy the Totems

For this quest you must destroy 4 totems. This is best done using the bow skill “Charged Shot” (costs 1 Abyss Artifact). You use it by aiming and holding the shooting button ( + hold / + hold / Q + hold Right Click). If you don’t have an Abyss Artifact to spend, you can farm the enemies in the quest area until the Artifact Gauge is filled up (yellow bar left of minimap), or reset your skills.

We will go through the quest objectives in our own optimized order. The in-game order of objectives is sort of backwards, it’s best to start with the southern objective and work toward the northern objectives.

You can completely ignore all enemies and the Hexe Marie boss that spawns. Just ride in, quickly shoot the totem with Charged Shot, move on to the next. Don’t waste your healing items. Hexe Marie can’t be defeated anyway and disappears after damaging her, there’s no point in fighting her.
