Crimson Desert All Sanctum Locations & Solutions

Crimson Desert has 16 Sanctum Locations. Finding and solving all Sanctums is needed for The Forgotten Sun Sanctums Challenges and unlocks the Lightbringer trophy & achievement. Each Sanctum counts as one Challenge. They are also needed to finish the faction questlines for the Witches and Antumbra Order.

Prerequisites:

Before you can complete the Sanctums, you must find the 4 Witches. Each Witch gives quests for 3-4 Sanctums. Without these quests, you won’t be able to trigger the cutscene that completes each Sanctum. You meet the first Witch in Chapter 5 – Main Quest: The Missing Seal. Then you find the others in the open world. Refer to All Witch Locations.
You will also need the Kuku Pot in your inventory, it’s automatically obtained in Chapter 4 – Main Quest: The Iron Pot’s Usage. You often need it to complete Sanctums. If you lost the Kuku Pot, check the Lost & Found chest at the Howling Hill Greymane Camp or dispatch your comrades to the expedition “Kuku Pot Production” to make another one.

The Sanctum of Mortification is the only one that doesn’t come from a Witch, it can only be completed as part of the story in Chapter 9 – Main Quest: Fragments of Darkness. Because of this story-related Sanctum, you can’t earn the trophy/achievement for all Sanctums until Chapter 9.

The Sanctums are puzzle challenges. They all follow a similar pattern: First you must clear out the enemies to liberate the sanctum. Then you find a broken reactor in the sanctum with a destroyed pillar. You must find the pillar piece and reconnect it on top of the pillar using Axiom Force and Force Palm. You must also find a power core that must be inserted in the open slot on the side of the reactor. The cores are often trapped in unreachable places and must be sealed inside the Kuku Pot, then discard them from the Kuku Pot to spawn them outside.

Commonly used controls for Sanctums:

Axiom Force to grab objects (broken pillar pieces and power cores): Hold L3 / Left Stick / ‘TAB’ Key.
Force Palm to connect broken parts (broken pillar pieces and slotting cube into reactor): Press R3 / Right Stick / Mouse Wheel. To connect the pieces on top of the pillars you’ll want to use Force Palm while jumping. Green leaves will fly around the objects when they’re in the correct place to slot them in.
Sealing Items inside Kuku Pot (power cores in unreachable places): Grab it with Axiom Force, then press Triangle / Y / ‘R’ Key. Then open the Kuku Pot from inventory and ‘discard’ the power core to spawn it out in the world. Then you can grab it with Axiom Force and slot it into the reactor with Force Palm.
