The Last of Us 2 (TLOU2) has 14 Safe Codes, 2 Gate Combinations, 1 Locker Code. The Safes always require a number code to be opened which this guide will reveal. Whenever you find a Safe be sure to loot it, as they often contain Collectibles, Upgrade Parts, Supplements, Weapons, and Ammo. Exploration is always worthwhile in The Last of Us Part 2.
The way you’d normally find out these codes is through text documents (Artifacts) located somewhere near the safe. The codes can also be written on nearby walls or whiteboards. If you happen to be going for all Collectibles, you’ll have to open all Safes anyway for the Safecracker trophy.

Hi, I finished all the safe codes and I still didn’t get the trophy i think it might be giltched and I double checked at the chapter select all collected but no trophy
Does sound like it glitched. I’d say keep going and see if the other collectible-related trophies pop. Try to open all safes again in New Game+ without skipping any Chapters (don’t use Chapter Select in NG+, play all chapters in succession and reopen them). If it still hasn’t popped after that, reinstall the game, delete TLOU2 save games (PS4 Settings > Application Saved Data Management) and start fresh from the beginning. Sometimes there’s an error with trophy set installation that can bug a trophy or a save game has some corrupt data. The above method usually fixes it.
I missed 1 safe from my playthrough. Do safes count as a collectible and I can just go back to the chapter where I missed it or do i need to reopen everything again in NG+?
Hi, I’m sure you’ve mentioned it somewhere in your guides (I try not to use them unless I get stuck…and you’re a savior when this happens!) but you do not need combinations to open safes. If you turn your volume up, there is a distinct, higher pitched “click” when you’ve selected the correct number. Do this for each number & the safe will open.
