The trophies consist of mostly collectibles. There are no difficulty-related trophies, making this an extremely easy trophy list that will be doable for everybody. We’ll have to get all player upgrades and weapon upgrades, which the developers already confirmed cannot be done in a single playthrough. Hence, it will be like the first game where some New Game+ (at least partially) is required to finish up those trophies. The rest looks doable in a single playthrough, and of course there will be Chapter Select like in the first TLOU, so that nothing is missable.

What are your thoughts on The Last of Us Part 2 trophy list? How long do you think it will take? For all solutions, check out the full Trophy Guide & Roadmap and Collectible Guide.

I know I already asked but if you (or someone else on the website) has the time, please create a trophy guide for SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom – Rehydrated as I’m undecided on whether I’ll buy it, The Last of Us Part II or both eventually.

Saw the battle for bikini bottoms trophy list , it’s twice as easy as TLOU pt 2 , and if you played it on the PS2 or XBOX, the nostalgia will carry you to the plat

There’s one on PSN profiles for the PS3 version, isn’t it the same trophies?

Do you even listen to yourself? Are you playing games to enjoy or because you want to earn a digital trophy? Like, what is wrong with you?!

Slightly disappointed about the lack of difficulty trophies tbh…Gonna be a great game regardless, but still. I love a good challenge.

Thank god, I was waiting weeks for this list and it’s not that bad at all, there might be some NG+ or if you follow Powers guide closely you might get it on one playthrough. But all I can say is happy hunting and all a good summer.

You cant upgrade everything in 1 playthrough, the devs already confirmed so I’d say it’s gonna take at least 2 playthroughs and about 40-50 hours if it actually does take 25-30 hours to complete.

Plat of the first game is one of my proudest ones ever, seeing this list is like a walk in the park and a disappointment to be honest, no grounded at all? Sad… will probably also wait for ps5 to play it in conditions, 1440p 30fps vs up to 4K 60fps, new controller, better sound, etc., it is an easy choice, to be honest, those few months I can wait…

PS5 will probably have the option between 1080p, 60fps and 4k, 30fps. Sorry to disappoint.

I never bothered to plat the first because of the online trophies. I did all the offline trophies though, which as far as I’m concerned is the only important bits, since the online wasn’t related to the main game.

Bit gutted there is no difficulty-based trophy. I like seeing that trophy pinging to show you beat games on its hardest difficulty.

Unlike the first game, TLOU2 doesn’t have an online mode / multiplayer. It’s Singleplayer only (so to answer your question: yes, no online trophies confirmed).
The developers said they want to release a standalone TLOU Multiplayer game at some point in the future.

I don’t understand the “too easy, I hoped for difficulty related trophies”. Dudes, no one forces you to play in Normal or Easy. That just proves you get those trophies to show off, not because you actually enjoy it…

    • Maximilian_H2 says

      June 17, 2020 at 1:20 pm

Not necessarily, it proves more that you don’t get the whole point of trophies imho. Yes, nobody forces anyone to anything, also to not buying the game in the first place. Trophies are something nice in exchange to a challenge, a reward that is called. If no difficulty trophies, that means whatever you play, you will not get rewarded, simple. That is what people are complaining about. We all love a challenge, but more so if there is a reward at the end. If you do not get that point, then this entire page might not be for you, but correct me if I am wrong.

    • Robhermes says

      June 17, 2020 at 7:23 pm

I don’t agree with you. The people who complain about no difficulty trophies are just elitists who like to show off. Just need to scroll a bit up “Trash list. It really is. Why no survivor trophy? Just stupid and now everyone will have the plat.” Everyone will have it so I can’t say I’m so cool because I beat the game in Survivor mode.

I am a trophy hunter and I enjoy all kinds of games and difficulties, I don’t need to be special. If those people really wanted the challenge, they’d just play it in Survivor and enjoy it, not caring about the rest.

I do think that the trophy will eventually arrive though when they implement the more than likely New game +.

      Happy hunting!

    • Maximilian_H2 says

      June 18, 2020 at 3:37 pm

I am no elitist and I complain, and I also dont care if the entire world has the platinum, the point is beating it on survivor or gounded and simply get a trophy for it, thats it from my point of view. MP trophies I could not care less about them, they were stupid and everyone agrees on it. The difficulty ones were a good implementation, and that what I am personally upset about, thats all. That will not stop me from playing this once the ps5 is out, to make it clear.

You know what, back when the PS1 and PS2 were around, the gaming system never had any of these trophies. The purpose of gaming is to game and have fun and kill some time, not needing confirmation of acceptance, which I agree with Roberto. I will be playing this a second time around for fun, not to see how many trophies can boost my ego.

I for one like the look of the list. AAA titles are there to be enjoyed, and I am very happy that there are no difficulty trophies or MP trophies. Yes, I have the plat for both PS3 and PS4 versions of TLOU.
    Keep smiling people.
