The Last of Us 2 The Resort Collectibles Locations

Chapter 44: The Resort (Santa Barbara) contains 6 Collectible Locations in The Last of Us 2 (TLOU2). This walkthrough will guide you to all collectibles in The Resort Chapter in chronological order. Everything that’s needed for trophies and 100% completion is included: Artifacts, Journal Entries, Trading Cards, Coins, Safes, Training Manuals, Workbenches, Weapons, Supplements (Player Upgrades), Parts (Weapon Upgrades).

If you forget a Collectible you can still get it via Chapter Select, so nothing is missable.

Video Guide

Weapon: Silenced Submachine Gun
Automatically in your inventory at the start of this chapter, cannot be missed! This should be your last weapon and unlocks the High Caliber  Trophy.

Journal Entry #1
In the starting area of the chapter where you encounter the Rattlers (human enemy faction), there’s a green van with a brown Rattler skull logo parked on the train tracks. Inspect this logo for the final Journal Entry in the game. You won’t unlock a trophy just yet, in addition to all Journals you still need the last 2 Artifacts for Trophy Archivist.

Parts x13
Check the store to the left of the above-mentioned van, it has 13 Upgrade Parts and a bunch of ammo on the counter (some Rattlers are patrolling this building).

Artifact #1: Santa Barbara Slave Note
After going through a train compartment, climbing a ladder, and seeing a prisoner escort in the distance, stick to the left side of the area with the trains to find a blood trail to a corpse and Artifact at the end.

Workbench #1 + Parts x22
During the next enemy encounter, in the wooden shack in the middle of the area. This is the final Workbench and unlocks the Prepared for the Worst  Trophy. There’s also 1 Upgrade Part at the circular saw in front of the Workbench, 12 Parts on the balcony of the building to the right of the Workbench (climb up ladder), 9 Parts outside on the white container behind the Workbench.

Trading Card #1: Sparkthug
When standing at the workbench, head into the building at your 1 o’clock (normal story path where you need to go anyway). As soon as you enter the building, check behind the table to your immediate right. This is the last Trading Card in TLOU2. If you found all of them you’ll now earn the Master Set  Trophy.

Artifact #2: Rattler’s Letter Home
In the next enemy section. On the normal story path you’ll have to go up a circular staircase inside a villa. Immediately after this, take a right turn to find the last Artifact on a nightstand near a bed. You should now earn the trophy Archivist  for having found all Journal Entries and Artifacts.
