Sanctum of Mortification is a Sanctum and Exploration Challenge in Crimson Desert.

This Sanctum is repaired as part of Story Chapter 9, Main Quest: Fragments of Darkness, Objective: Restore the power at the Sanctum of Mortification.
Sanctum of Mortification Solution
This Sanctum is repaired as part of Story Chapter 9, Main Quest: Fragments of Darkness, Objective: Restore the power at the Sanctum of Mortification.
Note: the quest objective will have an orange search area but it’s misleading. The objects you need are actually outside the search area.
Step 1: In the north of the sanctum, enter the side of the main building (bottom floor). There you find the dome of the broken pylon. Use Axiom Force on it (hold L3 / TAB), carry it upstairs and out of the building.
Step 2: Place it on top of the broken pylon, when done correctly you will see green leaves flying around it.
Step 3: Connect it with Force Palm. Climb to the top of the dome and do a jumping Force Palm (jump and R3 / Mouse Wheel). The part must connect to the pylon so it becomes electrified.
Step 4: In the north of the Sanctum, just outside the ruins where you grabbed the pylon part, you find vines/leaves on the wall. You must use Concentrating Light to burn away the vines (L1+R1 > hold L1 / LB+RB > hold LB / CTRL + Left Click > CTRL).
Step 5: This reveals a cube behind the vines. It’s hard to see. Grab it through the grate with Axiom Force (L3 / TAB). Seal it in the Kuku Pot by pressing Triangle / Y / R.
Step 6: Return to where you repaired the Pylon. Open the inventory > Examine the Kuku Pot > from inside the Kuku Pot discard the piece you picked up, called “Fusion Reactor Core: VIII”. This will drop it out in the open. If you lost the Kuku Pot, check the Lost & Found chest at the Howling Hill Greymane Camp or dispatch your camp comrades to the expedition “Kuku Pot Production”.
Step 7: Now you can grab the Reactor Core with Axiom Force, put it in the side of the reactor (the big tower where the 4 pylons are), punch it in with Force Palm.
When done, you automatically get a cutscene and the quest ends afterward.
