Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 Besieged Walkthrough

February 3, 2025 by PowerPyx 3 Comments

Besieged is the 28th main quest in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Besieged main story quest.

Talk to your allies

At the start of the quest you listen to Zizka and the others planning the next steps. They want to burn the enemy camp. When talking to Zizka it doesn’t matter what you say. He wants you to interrogate a prisoner who has info about the enemy camp.

Choose some men for a raid / Talk to your men in the courtyard / gate (Optional)

3 groups of your men will be marked (objectives C, D, E). You can choose who you want to assist with the raid at the end of the quest. It doesn’t really matter. I picked Janek of Skalitz & Jaroslav of Skalitz (standing at the inner courtyard gate) and Mikesh (in outer courtyard). They all survive the raid.

Interrogate the prisoner with the Devil

Dry Devil waits in the torture chamber underground. You access it through the door at the north edge of the inner courtyard, down some stairs:

Say “Can we start the interrogation?”. Then you can choose what information to prioritize, this only determines what question you ask the prisoner first, but you can ask him about the other topic regardless. The important info you need to advance the story is weaknesses of the camp. You can also choose to let Dry Devil do the interrogation.

  • Ask about Markvart and von Bergow = you start the interrogation asking about this, but can still ask about camp weaknesses
  • Ask about weaknesses in their camp = you start the interrogation asking about this, but can still ask about Markvart/Bergow
  • I’ll leave it up to you = Dry Devil takes the lead, during interrogation you can again choose to leave it to Dry Devil and he’ll hit the prisoner to get the info

You can also tell Dry Devil that you have your men ready or that you want to solve the interrogation without torture. Either is fine and has no consequence, during the interrogation you can always choose to win skill checks to obtain info without torture. If those fail you must resort to violence.

During the interrogation ask all questions about the camp and Markvart/Bergow. To successfully finish the objective you’d only need to ask any 1 of the 3 questions about the camp, doesn’t matter which one. But it’s better to get all the info. You can’t really do anything wrong here, all options lead to obtaining the info.

Tell Capon and the marksmen that the raid is ready

Talk to Hans on the south wall (accessed via stairs in southwest corner of inner courtyard). You can ask him for a bow or crossbow. The bow is more efficient because of the higher rate of fire.

Shoot enemies from the walls

Use the bow/crossbow to shoot at the enemies below the south wall.

Neutralize the enemy shooters

Shoot the riflemen on the right side. After they are dead wait for your allies to burn the enemy structures.

Neutralize the pavisiers!

More enemies arrive from the left, shoot them. Afterward you get a cutscene where they retreat and then talk to Dry Devil. Exhaust the questions with him and then report to Zizka.

Give a report to Zizka

Zizka will be marked with the “J” objective, he should be in the castle dining hall. Report the successful raid and exhaust the remaining dialogue. Then go to bed.

Go and rest

Sleep in your bed upstairs, this gives a cutscene. It skips to the 25th day of the siege where your supplies are running out and people are near starvation. The next quest Hunger and Despair starts immediately after the cutscene.

This finishes Besieged main quest in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2.

Can all of Capon’s people be saved or is it scripted that some have to die?
