In the Service of the Guild – Warlock’s Riddle Investigation is a unique Guild Activity in the Legacy of the Forge expansion of Kingdom Come Deliverance 2. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the In the Service of the Guild – Warlock’s Riddle Investigation DLC quest.

- Requirement: Own Legacy of the Forge DLC and complete Klaus’ Introduction to have access to Guild Activities

Warlock’s Riddle trophy/achievement - Quest Type: Task
- Quest Description: Guildmaster Bushek has been racking his brain over a rather strange order.

Objectives:
- Go to the Alchemist
- Search the chamber
- Solve the riddle
- Fetch ingredients for Bushek (x3)
Starting Location: In the Service of the Guild – Warlock’s Riddle Investigation
This Investigation activity is started from Bushek the Elder’s shop in Kuttenberg, instead of the normal location at Klaus Eichner’s. The activity can randomly appear after you do some investigations for Klaus Eichner.
Go to the Alchemist
Bushek needs you to deliver something to an Alchemist and pick up the ingredients he promised him as payment. Head west of Kuttenberg City to the inn located along the road.
Go up in the inn to the second floor where the rooms are, and the second last one on the end will have a locked door. Lockpick it, then interact with it again to kick it open.
Search the chamber
The alchemist is missing and his room is ransacked. To continue, pick up the white paper called Strange Riddle off the shelf on the left.
Solve the riddle
The riddle hints at the location of the supplies the alchemist left that you need to find for Bushek. To find them, go outside to the east of the inn where there is a small hill covered in trees, with an unmarked shrine.
Fetch ingredients for Bushek (x3)
Look on the ground behind the shrine to find an interact spot, where you can pick up all of the ingredients for Bushek along with some other items.
Head back to Bushek at his shop and speak with him to turn in the items. During the dialogue when he asks you what reward you want you should be sure to pick “I don’t want anything” as this will cause him to give you the Armourer V sketch, which is the only guaranteed way to receive it without randomly obtaining it during other Investigation or Thievery Contract objectives. Completing the task also rewards the Warlock’s Riddle trophy/achievement.
