Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 The White Roebuck Walkthrough

The White Roebuck is a side task in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of The White Roebuck side task.

• Starting Location: Kuttenberg Region > Suchdol
• Quest Giver: Huntsman Dobresh Pecker
• Requirement: Complete Main Quest 14: Speak of the Devil
• Reward: 450 x Groschen (if you turn in the squirrel tails and the hide to the hunstman)/225 x Groschen (if you give the hide to the Knacker)
• Quest Type: Task
• Quest Description: A rare white roebuck was felled by a poacher. Such a thing cannot be left unpunished.

Objectives:

1. Find out what the knacker knows about the poachers
2. Find the poachers’ camp
3. Find the white roebuck’s hide
4. Bring the white roebuck’s hide to the huntsman/Bring the white roebuck’s hide to the knacker (Optional)

Starting Location: The White Roebuck

To start this task, speak with Huntsman Dobresk Pecker located in Suchdol after you have entered the Kuttenberg region.

Find out what the knacker knows about the poachers

Dobresh wants your help dealing with some poachers in the area. You can first go into the town and speak with the knacker to try and get more information about the group.

You can ask him for the location and pass a few possible speech checks to get him to talk.

He also asks you to bring the white hide back to him if you find it for a possible reward.

Find the poachers’ camp

With the knacker’s information, the search area will shrink a bit, and there happens to be a Poachers’ camp POI within the area. Head there to find them.

Find the white roebuck’s hide

At the camp you can deal with all the poachers, then make sure to loot the Poacher’s squirrel tail item from each of them to turn in later. There are three poachers so you should end up with three tails.

Go into the partially destroyed house and open the chest to find the White buck’s hide. You can pick the lock or grab the key from the named bandit Mach. There is also a map which can lead you to hunting spots.

Bring the white roebuck’s hide to the huntsman/Bring the white roebuck’s hide to the knacker (Optional)

You now have the choice of whether you want to give the hide to the huntsman or the knacker as he requested if you spoke with him. Giving it to the knacker ends the task immediately, so you aren’t able to turn in the squirrel tails to the huntsman which ends up with a greater reward if you picked them up. You can also tell him about the knacker for a rep increase, but this doesn’t change anything else about the reward.
