Objectives:
- Meet with Olbert
- Find evidence
- Take the proof to Klaus
Starting Location: In the Service of the Guild – Silent Partner Investigation
This Guild Activity is started by speaking with Klaus Eichner at his shop. It will appear after you do a handful of the repeatable Investigation activities started from him.
Klaus figured out who was behind the ambushes on the guild supplies, so wants you to come with him to speak with the culprit. After speaking with him, you can immediately travel with him to the meeting.
Meet with Olbert
The culprit is his brother Olbert. During the conversation you’ll have some options for how to deal with him, but for a good outcome it’s recommended you respond with the following: “(Silent)” > “(Silent)” > “Who’s your king, Olbert?” > “Klaus should stay guildmaster” (prestige skill check). Then you’ll have a handful of options for a skill check on how to get the info out of Olbert for where the guild items are. If you have your skills close to or at 30 you should be able to pass any of the VERY HARD checks.
Find evidence
After the conversation is over, you’ll have a new objective location on the southwest of Kuttenberg City. Head over there where you can find a walled building where you can hear some enemies inside.
Missable Trophy/Achievement: Silent Partner (you handed over the evidence from the underground and no one died) – you have to complete the rest of the quest without killing anyone.
Switch to some stealthy clothing and make a save just in case, then you’ll need to pick the locked door to enter the area. In this outside area there are two enemies, one that will walk back and forth in the yard and one that will stay crouching inside the building. Wait for the one outside to walk to the right of the yard, then knock them out. Then you can safely walk into the building and knock out the second enemy.
Go into the left part of the building and down the ladders to the underground area. Make sure to keep crouched and slowly walk forward until you see light from another enemy ahead. In this room is an enemy that will walk down the tunnel to the left, and one that is crouched at the far wall. Wait for the one enemy to walk down the tunnel to the left, then you can knock out the crouching one. Now go down the tunnel and knock out the final enemy.
Just before the final enemy there is a path to the left where you can find a bunch of boxes.
To complete the objective you need to pick up Master Mathias’ Dagger that is sitting on the box, but you should also make sure to loot the small and big chest to obtain Armourer I sketch and Caster II sketch. This can be obtained randomly from the repeatable activities but this is a guaranteed way to obtain them.
Take the proof to Klaus
You can now exit the area and return to Klaus’ shop in Kuttenberg to turn in the dagger and complete the task. You’ll also earn
Silent Partner trophy/achievement if you completed the task without killing anyone.
This finishes In the Service of the Guild – Silent Partner Investigation quest in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2: Legacy of the Forge DLC.

And if you do not turn left for the boxes, but go straight you can find corpse and swimming little dinosaurs in the paddle of water – they’re just behind the wooden barrier. I think it’s an easter egg :D
Dave says
I was unclear from the letter and conversation who the enemy were in this, they killed Olbert’s men, had a letter from a captain in Sigismund’s camp who died in the main campaign and had shields from the landless guy who was the noble Bandit that we got the armour back for.
