Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 Divine Messenger Walkthrough

February 3, 2025 by PowerPyx Leave a Comment

Divine Messenger is the 10th main quest in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Divine Messenger main story quest.

Talk to the Innkeeper

You now play as Father Godwin. The quest starts with you talking to the Zhelejov Innkeeper. Pick any dialogues, they will chat about the whereabouts of Henry and Sir Hans. The Innkeeper reveals two people behind the barn saw what happened during the ambush, so you can go talk to them for more info. The site of the ambush will also be marked on the map right away.

Talk to the people who escaped from the mill (Optional)

After you finish talking to the Innkeeper, turn around and enter the barn just a few steps away. Inside you find two wounded people lying on the ground, talk to them.

The woman thinks she saw Henry and Hans being hanged, but she isn’t sure. The woman will give you a Commemorative Ring if you say “I’ll be happy to bless him” (can be sold for money).

Go to the site of the ambush at Nebakov mill

Call your horse Bibiana with :triangle: / :y: and ride to the “B” marker, where the ambush took place.

After you arrive there, the marker updates to Nebakov Fortress, just keep following the road.

When reaching the point where Henry dueled the bandit leader, you’ll automatically run into bandit Erik and his mercenaries. A dialogue will begin. Erik is a commander of the enemies who ambushed Henry and von Bergow’s men. While you talk, a different  group of corpse-looting bandits attacks

Defeat the bandits

Help Erik defeat the attackers. If you keep your distance the AI will fight each other, then you can circle around and attack from behind. Godwin has a strong sword that kills in 2-3 hits.

Talk to Erik

After the battle, talk to Erik again. He will take you to castle Nebakov.

Get on your horse / Go to Nebakov with Erik

Ride with Erik to the castle. You can engage in optional conversation and he’ll offer to race you to the stables, but it doesn’t matter if you win or lose. Once there, you will talk to the bandit captain who dueled Henry.

Get information about the prisoners

Finish the talk with the bandit captain, what you say doesn’t matter. A rebellion will break out inside the fortress and he offers to give up Henry & Capon if you help him squash the rebels.

Defeat the rebels and defend Nebakov!

This is another combat encounter. Go downhill in the fortress where people are fighting. Attack the enemies from behind while they are targeting the captain.

Talk to the captain

Talk to the captain after the fight. Another cutscene plays where you see Henry, Capon, the Bandit Captain, and Istvan Toth in the Nebakov jail. Henry reveals Istvan’s true identity, upon hearing this the Bandit Captain throws Istvan into jail too.

Try to find out more from Istvan

You play as Henry again and talk to Istvan Toth in the prison cell. Pick whatever dialogues you like. Since you’re supposed to find out info from him the most inquisitive choices are: “What do you want here?” > “Where’s my sword?!” > “How are you going to get out of here?”.

After the conversation, another cutscene plays. Erik comes and lets Istvan Toth out of his cell, the two of them were secretly working together and are deserting from the bandits. Shortly after, Godwin walks in and rescues Henry & Sir Hans.

Talk to the captain and Godwin about the further cause of action

Talk to Bandit Captain Jan Zizka and Godwin.

Exhaust all dialogues as you like, it doesn’t matter what you say and in what order. You can ask all available questions to learn about the bandits and what’s been going on behind the scenes. Afterward you get another cutscene where Godwin helps Zizka with his eye wound. Then the next main quest starts.

This finishes Divine Messenger main quest in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2.
