The Sword and the Quill is the 13th main quest in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the The Sword and the Quill main story quest.
Follow Zizka and Katherine
As you arrive in Kuttenberg you will be on a horse and travel with Katherine and Zizka. Follow their wagon. You can engage in some conversation along the way. After a while you get a cutscene and arrive in the town Suchdol.
The cutscene introduces you to Peter of Pisek. He offers you a bed for the night.
Talk to Lord Pisek in the banquet hall
Follow Lord Pisek up the stairs into the building. When he reaches the banquet hall you can talk to him. Sometimes he might get stuck on the stairs if there are lots of NPCs in the way, but he will proceed when the path is clear.
Zizka and Katherine will explain what happened in Trosky, you can choose to stay silent to let them tell the story.
Have a bath before going to bed (Optional)
After the conversation, you can go downstairs to the “C” marker and talk to Maid Zuzana inside the baths.
Go and get some sleep
Go back inside the building and upstairs. There’s a door in the corner that leads upstairs. Your room is the one with a floral wreath hanging above the door.
Inside you find a bed and your personal chest to store equipment (which is shared between all your personal chests at owned beds and rented inns).
If you were overencumbered you can finally store unneeded items in the chest here.
Go to bed when ready. When you wake up, the maid will bring you breakfast. But be careful, it contains chicken leg and you’re not allowed to eat meat for 
Lent. Eating the 2 bread rolls and 3 cheeses is fine though, this gets you to full nourishment and cures any remaining debuffs.
Now is also a good time to rearrange your equipped items since everything was unequipped in the previous quest.
Find Zizka
Go outside to the courtyard. Optionally, you can talk to Katherine by the training area, if you insult the garrison you can do a training fight against them.
Zizka is found in the north corner of the courtyard. The maid will be talking to him there. Exhaust the dialogues, doesn’t matter what you pick.
Go to the banquet hall for the audience
Head back inside and enter the banquet hall, a cutscene will play. Then you talk to Margrave Jobst of Luxembourg. Some dialogues lose reputation if you make presumptions.
The best choices are: “Von Bergow betrayed us!” > “It was difficult with Zizka” > “Sokol of Lamberg” > (Say nothing) > “Instead of messengers, they thought we were beggars” > “It weighed heavily on him” > “Istvan Toth was at Trosky” > (Say nothing) > “I betrayed Liechtenstein” > “I am honoured, but I can’t accept”.
You get another cutscene and ride out of town with Zizka to search for the “Dry Devil”.
This finishes The Sword and the Quill main quest in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2.
