  10. Free Miroslav

Starting Location: Bellatores

This quest is started by speaking with Jan Posy of Zimburg in the town of Bylany and agreeing to help him.

NOTE: If you accept this quest you MUST go with him immediately to his objective. If you don’t follow him after he gets on his horse you will fail the quest.

Mount a horse and follow Posy to the battleground

Call your horse over and ride it, then you can automatically follow after Jan to his destination. You can talk to him along the way about where you are from.

Sort out the situation with the looters

You will reach the destination and there will be looters around stealing from the carts. After Jan finishes speaking, you have the opportunity to interrupt and stop him from attacking them.

You’ll have to pass one of the three skill checks to put him off, with the Persuasion one being the easiest.

Arm yourself with a halberd (Optional)

Jan suggests picking up a halberd from the area to use yourself. It is optional if you want to stick with your normal weapons, but if you want to pick it up it is leaning up against the front of the covered cart.

Search for a priest among the fallen

The priest is not along the road, the are sitting slightly off the path near the river leaning against a tree.

Tell Posy what you found

After interacting with the priest to investigate them you can go speak with Jan to continue.

Follow the trail of the Cumans with Posy

Posy will then set off into the woods and you can automatically follow along again. He’ll stop to speak with a woman who says that the Cumans are at the ruins nearby, which you will head to next.

Think up a plan of attack with Posy

After he sneaks nearby, you can speak with him to think of a plan. You will have a speech check where you can convince him either to let you do it alone and/or to wait and attack at night.

Free Miroslav stealthily and arm him

Doing it by yourself at night is the easiest overall method, as it requires less out-in-the-open fighting. There are still around 5 active guards around, but 4 Cumans will be sleeping so you can take your time dealing with guards.

Conquer Zimburg!

If you do end up getting spotted or decide to go in with Jan, you will need to kill everyone in the camp.

Free Miroslav

Miroslav is located in the underground area in the middle of the ruins. Untie his hands to let him free.

After a scene, Jan will reward you for helping and request you return in a few days.

This finishes Bellatores side quest in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2.

A trick here is to run into the room where miroslaw is held and then fight the cumans one by one in the hallway.
