Beyond the Grave is a task in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of Beyond the Grave side task.
- Starting Location: Kuttenberg Region > Kuttenberg City > Hole in the Wall Tavern

- Requirement: Complete Feast for the Poor side quest

- Quest Description: Rat needs to get the seal of a dead mine owner from his grave in Sedletz for the Guild.
Objectives:
- Find the seal in the tomb
- Ask a monk (Optional)
- Try to rob the gravedigger (Optional)/Try searching the gravedigger’s house (Optional)
- Take the seal to Rat
Starting Location: Beyond the Grave
To start this quest, speak with Rat at the Hole in the Wall tavern in Kuttenberg city after you have completed Feast for the Poor and ask her for work.
Find the seal in the tomb
Rat wants your help stealing a seal from a dead mine owner. To do this go to the Sedletz Monastery northeast of Kuttenberg.
Ask a monk (Optional)
You have the option of asking Brother Morticius for help, he can typically be found outside the monastery praying at the graves.
If this is the first time meeting him, he will prompt you to start the side quest Thou art but dust… You aren’t required to complete this side quest for this task, but you go into the crypt below the chapel during this so you can do it in one trip if you work on both at once.
To find the tomb, you need to go down into the crypt, which is entered by interacting with the trap door in the middle of the floor.
Go through the door to the south where you can find a brick wall. Interact with the middle to pull it open.
Climb through the hole and interact with the tomb to look inside, but the seal won’t be there.
Try to rob the gravedigger (Optional)/Try searching the gravedigger’s house (Optional)
You have two options for what to do now, either try robbing the Monastery gravedigger or search his house for the seal.
The gravedigger does have the seal, but he carries it on himself at all times and doesn’t put it in the chest in his house, so you need to pickpocket it from him no matter what. If you wait until night time he has a Very Hard lock on his door, so if you can’t pick a lock like that you will need to pickpocket it from him during the day.
Take the seal to Rat
Once you have obtained the seal, go back to the tavern to give it to Rat to complete the task.
This finishes Beyond the Grave side quest in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2.
