High Toll is a task in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the High Toll side task.

- Quest Giver: Innkeeper Franz Geldstuck
- Requirement: Complete Main Quest 14: Speak of the Devil
- Reward: 100 x Groschen

- Quest Description: Kuttenberg innkeeper Geldstuck is having problems with a group of Sigismund’s soldiers who have ensconced themselves on the road between Kuttenberg and Grund, collecting tolls from merchants. He asked me if I could do something about it.
Objectives:
- Find the soldiers’ camp
- Talk to the commander (Optional)
- Get the writ from the soldiers’ commander
- Take the writ to the innkeeper
Starting Location: High Toll
To start this task, speak with Innkeeper Franz Geldstuck at the Iron Eagle Tavern in Kuttenberg city and ask if he has any work, then agree to help deal with his issue.
Find the soldiers’ camp
Geldstuck wants your help dealing with the group of Sigismunds’ soldiers that are collecting tolls on merchants. Head to the marked location on the road between Kuttenberg and Grund to located the camp.
Talk to the commander (Optional)
When you approach the area you will be questioned by one of the soldiers. If you have high enough skill levels, you can yell the soldier into letting you see the writ, and in the process find out they’ve been using it to still from merchants because they had nothing better to do, then choose to attack them or send them away.
Get the writ from the soldiers’ commander
If you don’t have high enough skill levels to pass the speech checks, you will need to obtain it through other means. You can just attack the soldiers and take the writ, or sneak in and steal it at night. You will need to look for the soldier named Royal Customs official who should be sleeping in one of the tents and then pickpocket the writ from him.
Take the writ to the innkeeper
You can then go back to the tavern and give the writ to Geldstuck to complete the task.

This one is either bugged or time based, I myself left this one a while before going towards it and when I arrived, there was no camp or npc here I fast forwarded an hour the whole day nothing appeared.
Most likely a time based quest(if it’s not bugged) where your best going there asap upon getting said objective.

I failed the skill checks, left to do other things, logged out for the night and when I logged back in, I had the writ. No idea how it got there, as it wasn’t there when I logged out the night before, but I was able to complete the quest. No idea.
