Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 Seeking Justice Walkthrough

February 13, 2025 by Gage 5 Comments

Seeking Justice is a side task in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Seeking Justice side task.

  • Starting Location: Kuttenberg Region > Suchdol
  • Quest Giver: Captain Frenzl
  • Requirement: Complete side quest All’s fair…
  • Reward: 100 x Groschen (if you turn Pavel in), 60 x Groschen (if you don’t turn Pavel in)
  • Quest Type: Task
  • Questline: All’s fair… > Seeking Justice
  • Quest Description: Captain Frenzl is looking for the thief from Wysoka. And since I was the one who helped Pavel with the theft, I decided to help him.
  • Missable Warning: If you choose an option where you don’t give Pavel the items in All’s fair… then this task won’t be available. You must also not report Pavel to Frenzl early or you won’t be able to start this task. You must wait until his first dialogue choice changes to “Do you need anything?” and then agree to find Pavel for him.

Objectives:

  1. Find Pavel
  2. Talk to Pavel (Optional)
  3. Talk to the captain

Starting Location: Seeking Justice

To start this quest, you must first have chosen to give Pavel all of the stolen items in side quest All’s fair… – after a few in-game days, you can go to Suchdol and speak with Captain Frenzl to start this task.

Missable Warning: If you choose an option where you don’t give Pavel the items in All’s fair… then this task won’t be available. You must also not report Pavel to Frenzl early or you won’t be able to start this task. You must wait until his first dialogue choice changes to “Do you need anything?” and then agree to find Pavel for him.

Find Pavel

Frenzl speculates that Pavel is located in Kuttenberg, and you’ll need to head there to look for him.

If you speak with a few shops you will be directed to the Hole in the Wall tavern in the southeast corner of the city. Speak with Innkeeper Mole.

You need to pass a speech check or pay him to get him to give up the info.

He’ll suggest speaking with the Scribe located in the town hall about the book Pavel was trying to sell.

He suggests checking one of the two Cobblers in the city. Head to the north one and speak with him to learn with Pavel is.

Talk to Pavel (Optional)

You then have the option of going to the back of the shop to speak with Pavel. You can ask him questions about why he did what he did, but this doesn’t dictate the rest of the quest.

Talk to the captain

Head back to Suchdol and speak with Captain Frenzl again. You can either tell him the truth that Pavel is in Kuttenberg or lie and tell him that Pavel is in Prague. Whichever option you choose, you complete the task.

This finishes Seeking Justice side quest in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2.

You can also return the stolen items back to Captain Frenzl. I found the boots at the cobbler and the book from the scribe. Still looking around town for the other items.

The rest of the items can be bought from the Inkeeper/Rat in the Hole in the Wall tavern. I only got 70 groschen and some rep for turning everything in.

For those having issues getting Seeking Justice quest to trigger. You have to have go en Pavel the items back in the previous quest. Then wait a day or 2, there’s a bed right there you can use if you want. Go to Franzel and like explained in this guide make sure it says do you need anything at the very top. If it’s not saying that wait another half day or day, it will spawn you right in front of him again and try again until you get that top choice available! Happy Hunting!

Lol no. The guy was making up the story about him wanting to woo the girl next door, he was actually looking to rob everyone in the village so he can have some money to go to Kuttenberg and start a new life as an apprentice cobbler in the city. Henry is the simpleton in the scheme by doing all the robbing for him.
