Teeth in the Bag is a side task in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Teeth in the Bag side task.
- Starting Location: Kuttenberg Region > Kuttenberg City > Hole in the Wall Tavern
- Quest Giver: Innkeeper Mole
- Requirement: Complete Main Quest 14: Speak of the Devil, but the quest is known to sometimes unlock later for some players, in which case continue with the story and check after each main quest.
- Reward: Up to 30 x Groschen (from bets with fighters), 65 x Groschen, Molar die, Premolar die, Wisdom tooth die, Hugo’s die, Unarmed XP (from winning all three fights)
- Quest Type: Task
- Questline: (Teeth in the Bag > [More Teeth in a Bag] > Enough! > Fight Dirty > [A Moment of Fame]) > Nail in the Coffin
- Quest Description: In the worst dive in Kuttenberg, they host fighting matches. It’s not exactly high-quality entertainment, but I could earn some extra money there.
Objectives:
- Challenge Damian to a fight
- Defeat Damian!
- Get the winnings from Damian
- Challenge Zavish to a fight
- Defeat Zavish!
- Get the winnings from Zavish
- Challenge Goliath to a fight
- Defeat Goliath!
- Get the winnings from Goliath
- Go back to Mole
Starting Location: Teeth in the Bag
To start this task, speak with Innkeeper Mole and ask him “Tell me about the fights”. Unlike other fighting tasks you need to pay him 50 Groschen upfront to participate. These are some of the toughest unarmed opponents in the game, so make sure you only participate in this task when you have high unarmed skill level.
Note: this task can spawn as early as Main Quest 15: The Devil’s Pack, but it often takes longer to spawn, check the map after each main quest and it will get marked when it becomes available.
Challenge Damian to a fight
The fights all take place in the barn located beside the tavern. You can head over there for the first fight against Damian.
Damian also asks you to bet on the side, which you can accept if you like.
Defeat Damian!
Damian is decent at dodging attacks and can break out of a clinch pretty well, so your best bet for him is to keep at normal punching distance and string combos together. He will normally only counter a couple of times, then drop his guard allowing you to get a couple hits in. Don’t push him too far toward the wall that you get in a clinch, as he can break out of it frequently and waste your stamina.
Not that all fights here are until either person is knocked out, you can’t surrender yourself or have the other person surrender early, so keep hitting them until they are knocked down.
Get the winnings from Damian
Once the fight is over and Damian wakes up, speak with him to collect your winnings.
Challenge Zavish to a fight
Next up is Zavish, who will only be allowed to fight you while he’s drunk. You will need to give him alcohol before he agrees to fight you, which you can do from your inventory.
He also asks for a bet on the side that you can accept.
Defeat Zavish!
Zavish is the opposite of Damian, where he will actively counter punches much more frequently, but isn’t good in clinches. To beat him you are better pushing toward him to push him into the wall and engaging a clink, where you can typically hit him a few times before he pushes away.
Get the winnings from Zavish
Once the fight is over and Zavish is no longer unconscious, speak with him to collect your winnings.
Challenge Goliath to a fight
Goliath is the final opponent, and easily the hardest yet. You may have already fought him during Main Quest 16: Into the Underworld, in which case you may know what to expect from him already.
He also asks for a bet on the side that you can agree to. If you aren’t sure of your unarmed skill before challenging him, you can try taking some potions right before speaking to him and triggering the fight, as they will carry into it. Artemesia and Buck’s Blood are good options.
Defeat Goliath!
Goliath fights like a middle ground between Damian and Zavish, where he will actively counter and can push out of clinches, but his main strength is that he hits very hard. You want to make sure you never miss a perfect block against him, or he may take you down in a couple hits. When you counter try to kick him, as this is harder for him to directly counter.
Get the winnings from Goliath
Once the fight is over, speak with Goliath to collect your winnings.
Go back to Mole
Now that you’ve beaten everybody, head back to Mole to receive your rewards and complete the task.
This finishes Teeth in the Bag side quest in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2.

This quest would not show up for me until I went and did the “Enough!” quest in Miskowitz first. Then that innkeeper mentions there are fights at the Hole In The Wall Tavern and this quest then becomes available.

“Enough” quest was definitely not required for me. I had never done that quest and got Teeth in the Bag by talking to innkeeper Mole. I think it’s just one of the quest that’s a bit finnicky with when exactly it unlocks and can take several ingame days or progress story a little further until it gets marked.
