Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 The Magic Arrow Walkthrough

The Magic Arrow is a side quest in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of The Magic Arrow side mission.

• Starting Location: Kuttenberg Region > Devil’s Den
• Quest Giver: Pasha
• Requirement: Complete Main Quest 14: Speak of the Devil
• Reward: 30 x Groschen (if you return the arrow to Pasha and don’t shoot him)
• Quest Type: Side Quest
• Questline: Arrow-head > The Magic Arrow > Something Rotten
• Quest Description: I met some bandits at the Devil’s Den tavern. They need some help with obtaining a magic arrow, which, unfortunately, is stuck in their leader’s head, and he’s dead and buried. Looks like a pretty dirty job.

Objectives:

1. Find Karel’s grave and retrieve the arrow
2. Find out from the gravedigger where Karel is buried (Optional)
3. Return to Devil’s Den with the arrow
4. Follow Hare
5. Talk to Hare
6. Go to see Pasha at the camp and give him the arrow
7. Bless Pasha with the magic arrow

Starting Location: The Magic Arrow

To start this quest, speak with Pasha who is located at the Devil’s Den and agree to help him.

If Pasha is not currently at the Devil’s Den you may still have the task Arrow-head available, which you should check for first.

Find Karel’s grave and retrieve the arrow

Pasha wants your help finding the arrow that his former chief had lodged in his skull. You have the option of searching around the whole cemetery, but you can narrow your search down a bit first.

Find out from the gravedigger where Karel is buried (Optional)

The gravedigger typically hangs out around his house to the north of the cemetery, head there to speak with him.

You’ll have to pass one of three Easy level skill checks to convince him to tell you the location, pick whichever one you have the highest level in.

He reveals that he was buried outside the cemetery wall, at the end of the path that runs along it near the willow tree. Head there and dig up the spot (there’s even a spade there if you need it). You can then pull the arrow out of Karel’s head.

Return to Devil’s Den with the arrow

Then can head back to the Devil’s Den now that you have obtained the arrow. Pasha won’t be present, so speak with Hare who is still sitting at the table.

Follow Hare

You’ll then have to follow Hare to the bandit camp nearby. You can automatically follow him, then respond how you like on the way.

Talk to Hare

Hare will stop you in the middle of the field and ask that you give him the arrow instead. You have the option of giving him the arrow or refusing to continue to give it to Pasha.

If you give it to him, the quest ends immediately. If you say you won’t give him the arrow, he says he’ll attack you, and you need to pass a speech check to put him off.

If you pass the check Hare will leave on his own, if not he will attack you.

Go to see Pasha at the camp and give him the arrow

You’ll then need to find where the camp is in the large marked area. There is an Enemy camp POI on the east side you should head to.

You have the option of telling on Hare when you speak to Pasha, but this doesn’t matter for the rest of the events. He wants you to shoot him in the head with it in the same way that happened to Karel, which you can talk your way out of if you want, which ends the quest and gets you a reward.

Bless Pasha with the magic arrow

If you agree, you’ll be given a crossbow and need to shoot Pasha in the head with it.

This ends exactly how you would expect, completing the quest. You don’t get a reward this way, but you can loot the bandit camp as the rest of the bandits run away.
