- Quest Description: The Danemark Mill was occupied by a band of cutthroats. They slaughtered the hired hands and took miller Hermann’s family captive.

- Take care of the bandits at Danemark
- Return to the miller for a reward
Starting Location: Tragedy in Danemark
Missable Warning: This task is HIGHLY MISSABLE as it can only occur during and immediately after the “Follow the clues” step of the side quest Yackers ‘n’ Fash when you are locating the Miners’ standard at the Danemark mill. If you miss interacting with the tied-up family then you cannot trigger this task at any other point.
To start this task, during the “Follow the clues” step where you find the Danemark mill has been taken over by bandits, you need to go to the northernmost building and climb up to the top to locate Miller Hermann and his captive family. Be careful entering this area as if any of the bandits see you enter the barn they will follow and attack the family, possibly failing the task.
Untie Miller Hermann to start the task. You can tell him to wait or run, but waiting is safer.
Take care of the bandits at Danemark
You will need to deal with all of the bandits who are in Danemark. You were already almost certainly going to do this for Yackers ‘n’ Fash so that you can find the Miners’ standard, so clean up any in the area.
Return to the miller for a reward
Once all the bandits are dealt with, return to the miller to complete the task.
