Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 X Marks the Spot Walkthrough

X Marks the Spot is a side task in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the X Marks the Spot side task.

• Quest Giver: Hired Hand Krizhan
• Requirement: Complete Main Quest 14: Speak of the Devil
• Reward: Krizhan available as skill teacher
• Quest Type: Task
• Quest Description: In Pschitoky I was able to get a treasure map from a hired hand named Krizhan. Perhaps it will lead me to riches.

Objectives:

1. Find out where the map leads
2. Dig up the treasure
3. Talk to Krizhan about the map’s authenticity

Starting Location: X Marks the Spot

This task is started by speaking with hired hand Krizhan in Pschitoky. You can be directed to speak to him by the quest tipster at the tavern located to the south along the main road into Kuttenberg .

He says he found a treasure map and offers to sell it to you for 100 Groschen.

Find out where the map leads

After receiving it, you can check out Krizhan’s treasure map in your inventory.

The map is pretty detailed so is easy to spot where you need to go based on the roads. It is pointing toward an Enemy camp POI located north of Kuttenberg city.

Dig up the treasure

Deal with any bandits at the camp (watch out as some will sometimes be in the mine) then head into the mineshaft at the back of the camp.

In the tunnel, you can find the bandit leader digging. If you attack him, he will eventually give up and you can speak with him to get information about why he is also here. You are free to let him go after or kill him.

There are some spots you can dig in the mine, but they won’t have any items.

Talk to Krizhan about the map’s authenticity

Head back to Pschitoky and speak with Krizhan again. You then have some possible options as to what to do with him. If you respond nicely and don’t ask for the money back, he becomes available as a skill teacher.
