Blood for Blood is a Side Quest in Horizon Forbidden West (HZFW). This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Blood for Blood side mission.
Location: Memorial Grove
Quest Giver: Dekka
Quest Level: Level 19
Requirement: Appears after completing main quest “The Kulrut“.
Reward: 4750xp, 2 Skill Points, 1 Peremiter Tripcaster, 1 Tenakth Recon
Mission Info: Dekka wants to find and convince her grandson Kavvoh to come home after he joined up with Regalla’s rebellion.
Objectives:
- Meet Dekka on the Hillcrest
- Kill the Rebels
- Find the Post that Nakalla was Tied To
- Follow the Tracks
- Examine the Hatch
- Meet Dekka at Fall’s Edge
- Go to the Campfire
- Wait for Kavvoh and Arokehh at the Campfire
- Follow Kavvoh
- Kill the Rebels and Their Machine
- Talk to Kavvoh and Arrokeh
- Return to Dekka

Appears after completing main quest “The Kulrut“.
Meet Dekka on the Hillcrest
Talk to Dekka at the Hillcrest.
Kill the Rebels
After talking to Dekka go on just ahead and kill all the rebels in the outpost.
Find the Post That Nakalla Was Tied To
Once all rebels are dead, you need to examine the post that Nakkalla was tied to, closeby still in the outpost.
Follow the Tracks
After approaching the post and hearing some dialogue, scan it with your focus and highlight the tracks with R1.
Just outside of the outpost Aloy will comment about some blood, examine it.
Examine the Hatch
Continue following the tracks and you will be lead back into the outpost. Dekka will mention a dead-end, examine the hatch beneath the wood here.
Meet Dekka at Fall’s Edge
Travel to Fall’s Edge and talk to Dekka.
Go to the Campfire
Go to the camp outside of Fall’s Edge where you will be attacked by some rebels, kill them.
Wait for Kavvoh and Arokehh at the Campfire
Go to the campfire and use triangle to wait.
Follow Kavvoh
Follow Kavvoh a short distance who will lead you to the next objective area, just keep following him, it’s a linear path that inv0lves some climbing.
Kill the Rebels and Their Machine
In the new area, you will see a Behemoth and some rebels appear ahead, kill them.
Talk to Kavvoh and Arokehh
After killing the rebels and the machine, talk to Kavvoh and Arokehh.
Return to Dekka
Return to Fall’s End and talk to Dekka to complete the quest.
This finishes Blood for Blood Side Quest in Horizon 2: Forbidden West.

So agter killing the machine I’m supposed to talk to Kavvoh and Atokkeh, but the game won’t let me. Nothing happens when I walk up to him. Can’t catch a chat with him. Anyone tried the same?
