Lofty Ambitions is a Side Quest in Horizon Forbidden West (HZFW). This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Lofty Ambitions side mission.

Quest Giver: Morlund
Quest Level: Level 24
Requirement: Must have completed Main Quest 11: The Sea of Sands
Reward: 6000xp, 2 Skill Points, 1 Oseram Striker
Mission Info: Morlund has set his sights on the skies. He just needs an Old World device to make his latest and greatest invention work.
Objectives:
- Go to the Ruin with the Dragon Statue
- Gather the Burner
- Deliver the Burner to Morlund
- Find Morlund
- Kill the Machines
- Free Morlund
- Follow Morlund
- Search for a way across the Chasm
- Kill the Stormbird
- Talk to Morlund
Starting Location: Lofty Ambitions
This unlocks after Main Quest 11: The Sea of Sands.
Go to the Ruin with the Dragon Statue
Go to the elevator shaft, climb or jump down and then glide to avoid taking falling damage.
Proceed to the objective marker, in this room jump down and proceed onwards.
When you get to the big open area, proceed right towards the objective, there will be a few machines on the way, then go through this broken window.
Go through the crawl space into another big room with the objective just above, on the golden dragon.
Gather the Burner
On the left wall of the room there is a vent to pull down, it’s easily visible with the surrounding blue light. You can scan for it with 
and use pullcaster with 
+ 
> hold 
. Go through it.
On the other side is a crate and some firegleam, ignite it.
Now pull the crate out into the main room, position it here so you can jump up to the above ledge.
Go left and turn around and look up, pull the crate down and push it against the wall so you can reach the ledges here and jump across them.
On the last ledge, look forward and pull down this beam, jump from this beam to the other side of the floor.
From here go to the end and pull down a vent in the ceiling, then go through it.
Just ahead and left, you can now jump on the dragon and grab the burner.
Deliver the Burner to Morlund
Now backtrack the way you came. You have to use the grapple points in the elevator shaft to climb back up, from the bottom, you can jump and grab 
the grapple point here, then turn around and grapple to another on the wall.
Climb to the left and up onto the next beam.
Then to the next grapple point above.
Turn around and grapple to this one, then climb left and back to the surface.
Talk to Morlund.
Find Morlund
After a fairly long scene, you will have crashed and now need to find Morlund who is close by.
Kill the Machines
As soon as you move forward, there will be a few machines in the area, kill them.
Free Morlund
Now go over the Morlund and free him from the debris he is trapped under.
Follow Morlund
Now follow Morlund to the next objective.
Search for a Way Across the Chasm
Morlund will stop and ask for a way across a chasm, kick down the tree here and go across it.
Kill the Stormbird
There is a stormbird at the other side of the chasm guarding the burner, kill it.
Talk to Morlund
After killing the stormbird talk to Morlund, the quest will now be complete.
