Broken Locks is an Errand Quest in Horizon Forbidden West (HZFW). This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Broken Locks errand mission.
Missable Warning: This Errand is missable (see requirements below) and can lock you out of getting 100% completion.
Location: Camp Nowhere
Quest Giver: Porguf
Quest Level: Level 22
Requirement: During Side Quest: Breaking Even you must do the optional objective “Recover Porguf’s Lockbox”. It’s believed that if you don’t do that side objective the Broken Locks Errand will become missable, because the Lockbox you found is an integral part of the Errand. Must also complete Side Quest: A Tribe Apart (potentially also requires other side quests/errands). If Broken Locks isn’t available right away go do some other quests and check the map after each quest for the green exclamation mark at Camp Nowhere.
Reward: +4771 XP, +3 Skill Points, +1 Oseram Wayfarer Face Paint
Mission Info: Porguf wants to return his mother’s lockbox to its rightful owner – his estranged sister, Marsa.

- Talk to Petra at Chainscrape
- Talk to Marsa at the Signal Tower

Talk to Petra at Chainscrape
Use the campfire to fast travel to Chainscrape, the first town in the north-east of the map. Enter the tavern and talk to the woman (Petra) sitting at the roundtable. Pick the dialogue “Marsa?” to advance the errand.
Talk to Marsa at the Signal Tower
Head up the mountain path north of Chainscrape. There you will find Marsa, talk to her to finish this short Errand.
