The Fire God’s Magatama is the 12th side mission in Nioh 2. This walkthrough will guide you through all areas of the The Fire God’s Magatama Side Quest.
The Fire God’s Magatama is unlocked when you complete The Mysterious One Night Castle Main Mission.

Requirement: Finish The Mysterious One Night Castle Main Mission
Reward: Swordsmith’s Hammer, Kiku Ichimonji, Seki Kaneyoshi Dual Tachi, Rai Kuniyuki Odachi
Guess the chest
In this short side mission there will be 3 objective markers on your radar, representing 3 chests. Each one of them will be in a Yokai Realm. Only one of those has the Magatama you need to find. It’s simply luck-based which one it is. So get into the Yokai Realm, beat the Yokai to make it disappear and open the chest. If you’re lucky you will find it in your first chest, if not you might have to clear all 3 of them.
A short note: the chests will be sealed as long as there is a Yokai Realm. So don’t try to rush to the chests while ignoring the Yokai. You must defeat the Yokai with red stuff flying around them to cleanse the Yokai Realm.
