One thing that stands out is that there are no difficulty-related or missable trophies and you will only need 1 playthrough. The hidden trophies are mostly story-related, either automatic unlocks or tied to doing specific actions within certain missions. With Nioh 2’s function to summon AI-controlled corpses of fallen players to help you in battle, this looks like a very manageable list for those familiar with the first Nioh game. The trophies are very straightforward. There are hot springs and kodama you must locate (collectibles) and unlock a mystic art for each weapon (by using it in combat to increase proficiency). The rest is largely story-related with some things tied to game progression that will come naturally. Topped off with some miscellaneous trophies, such as using Burst Counters, this looks like a very enjoyable list indeed!

Thanks for the trophy list. Little disappointing most of the trophies are pretty much the same as first Nioh.
Gediminas says
i will go for platinum, i have platinum from Nioh too.
very enjoyable game. hard but enjoyable.
Matt Donjon says
This platinum will be mine! Glad there are only 2 online related trophies that arent ridiculously bad or grindy.
Alastor says
What are the 2 online trophies? All I see is doing 10 missions with NPCs or other users so we shouldn’t even need co-op unless the npc missions are hard or something
Alastor says
Very looking forward to this game on Friday and will probably use your videos for locating all kodamas and hot springs I miss.
It seems the Burst Breaker trophy could be done right at the starting tutorial, thankfully it’s not 5 burst counter in-a-row
FoX-Sempai says
Two most grindy trophies:
Friend of Guardians trophy
Collected all Guardian Spirits.
Soul Searcher trophy
Obtained all Soul Cores.
(SiC) says
I think all Guardian Spirits are story related.
Mizu says
Neither trophy is grindy. Soul Cores are practically thrown at you, with only 1 that you actively have to try and get. Guardian Spirits are all given via story and side missions. Just playing the game gives you them.
123 says
🙁 that is really disappointing
Sean Humphries says
Have a week off work next week, i’m so ready for this Platinum
Kaio says
Hey, can I get the Platin in coop?
NL_the _Godfather says
Nice, no missable trophies at least. So we can just play the game without having to worry about missing anything if we want 1 playthrough that is.
I remember some of those Kodama’s being hidden very well in the Nioh 2 beta demo.
Mizu says
The Peacock Guardian Spirit basically shows you their location on the map if you don’t want to try and find them all yourself
