Nioh 2 Learning a Lesson Walkthrough

March 10, 2020 by DK 2 Comments

Learning a Lesson is the 15th side mission in Nioh 2. This walkthrough will guide you through all areas of the Learning a Lesson Side Quest.

Learning a Lesson is unlocked when you complete The Hollow Fortress Main Mission.

Recommended Level: 39
Region: SHADOW
Requirement: Finish A Way Out Main Mission
Reward: Jikkyu Mitsutada, Sacred Water x5, Spirit Stone x3, Skeletal Warrior’s Sacrum x1

Where to go?

Follow the cliffside until you see a Yokai mist in front of you. That is the way you have to go in this mission. Going down the cliffside only leads to a single chest. Go for it if you feel like. After disposing of the Yokai climb the ladder behind it.

You will reach a green cave with a Dark Realm (corrupted yokai area) inside of it. In the distance you can see a Shrine but to use it you must clear the Dark Realm first. The enemy you have to look for in order to do it is an Ippon-Datara (the one-legged, one-eyes Yokai jumping around).

From the Shrine head into the cave next to it and follow the path until you reach an area which is locked by a seal at the other exit.

In this area there will be multiple waves of enemies, but they are all types you have fought many times before. There are 3 waves total.

Wave One: 2 Gaki and 1 Yamanba.
Wave Two: 1 Dweller and 1 Enki.
Wave Three: 1 Skeleton Warrior and 1 Yoki.

Always kill the smaller enemies first and the big enemies last. Once you clear all the enemies in this area the mission will succeed.

This finishes Learning a Lesson side mission in Nioh 2.

At the end, “Once you clear all the enemies in this area the mission will succeed.”
Can you at least explain how many enemies/waves?

I 100% agree, this should’ve been in there. This has now been added and updated. Thanks for your question and helping to make the guide better! 🙂
