Horizon Forbidden West How to Use Pullcaster

The Pullcaster is a usable tool in Horizon Forbidden West (HZFW). It works on certain attachable objects, used during parkouring sections (e.g. to pull wooden beams to you) or to remove obstacles (such as rubble or vent openings).

To use the Pullcaster: hold L2 + TRIANGLE > hold R2

In the early game this will be explained to you but later the Pullcaster button prompts go away on the screen. It’s used somewhat infrequently in quests so it’s easy to forget the controls if you haven’t used it in a while.

The Pullcaster doesn’t consume any ammo. You can use it as often as you wish.
