The Search is the 5th side mission in Nioh 2. This walkthrough will guide you through all areas of The Search Side Quest.
The Search is unlocked when you complete The Viper’s Sanctum Main Mission.

Reward: Gesture SUDAMA DANCE, Kodama Bowl, Possessed Kodama Bowl x1, Smithing Text: Possessed Kodama Bowl
Searching for Kodama
You have received a letter with weird text, so who sent it? A Kodama did.
In this mission you have to traverse the map and search for Kodama and Sudama there. All of them are marked on your radar and you should know the map layout from the 1st main mission which took place in this area. Just run from one objective marker to another while disposing of the Yokai Realms on the map.
Sudama will not go back to Shrine immediately like Kodama. You will have to greet them and drop a weapon in front of them instead (drop from your inventory). Once you have found all of them the mission will succeed.
This finishes The Search side mission in Nioh 2.
