The Demon King’s Blade is the 28th side mission in Nioh 2. This walkthrough will guide you through all areas of The Demon King’s Blade Side Quest.
The Demon King’s Blade is unlocked when you complete Bird in a Cage.

Fighting Oda Nobunaga
This level is a one on one fight with Nobunaga. There is no shrine or anything in this mission, you start in the area the fight is in and it starts as soon as you move, so do any preparations you need before you start moving.
Oda Nobunaga Boss Fight
One of the easiest bosses in the game with Spear High-Stance skill “Spear Flourish”. It’s one of the starting skills with Spear that only requires 1 proficiency point to unlock, allowing you to stunlock the boss the entire fight without ever taking a hit from him. All you do is press 
and repeat (High-Stance, Spear only). The triggers the Spear Flourish skill, which knocks back this boss (and pretty much all other human bosses) during your Ki burst. Then you land one hit and repeat this cycle until the boss is dead. Once he’s pushed into a corner he can’t do anything. Make sure you time your Ki bursts correctly to recharge as much Ki as possible (watch the red Ki bar below your health, when the white bar after your attack is filled you press to recover the Ki that attack used). This way you can keep going like this forever. Also wear light armor so your Ki recovers faster (below 30% equipment weight) or go at it without any armor at all. This tactic turns an otherwise strong boss into a complete joke.
