There are 13 Constellation Locations in Crimson Desert (Maps of the Night Challenges). Finding all Constellations unlocks the Navigator of the Stars trophy & achievement. They also count as Exploration Challenges toward the Expert Explorer trophy & achievement.
To be able to complete the constellation challenges you’ll first need to obtain the Constellation Helm, which is given during the Hernand > Scholastone Institute Faction Quest chain What the Stars left Behind. To have this quest chain appear you’ll need to complete most other Hernand region Faction Quests for the Houses and towns. After completing the Kharonso Troll Alliance quests, you should then be prompted with the Constellation Research quest, which will automatically complete if you had already picked up and read the Constellation Research Journal that can be found in the Scholastone library.
At the start of the quest Troll Studying Steles you are given the Constellation Helm, and prompted to use it to find the constellations. Stand directly on the “X” quest marker and look up toward the Spire and you can see the constellation above you. Line it up so that it forms a diamond and aim at the center. It should light up and start shimmering, then after a few seconds the constellation will have a ring appear around it which means it is complete. This is how all constellations are “found” after this first one.

Constellation #2: Adventurer
Located at Stonemire Ruins in Delesyia.
You need to stand around the middle of the rock formation, a couple meters away from the two flat stones on the ground. Then look up to the southeast to find the constellation.
Constellation #3: Wagon
Located in Pailune, southwest of Vat’nholl Fortress near UPPER NAS RIVER. This isn’t a marked map location but is a circle of large stones.
Stand halfway between the middle and northern stone in the circle, then look up toward the Spire and the constellation should be directly above you.
Constellation #4: Hammer
Located in Demeniss at Sheltering Rocks. This spot is associated with the quest Secrets of the Ancient Ruins that you automatically receive.
Mark the quest and stand directly on the X quest marker, look up to the southeast to see the constellation directly above you. From the X spot you may need to walk forward slightly to line up the constellation with the segment on the bottom and diamond on top.
Constellation #5: Woodland Spirit Owl
Located in Pailune at Swamp of Despair.
Stand directly in the center of the area. If you open your map and zoom all the way in you should be slightly up and left of the end of the map trade path.
Look up to the southwest and line up the constellation to appear like a closed top 4.
Constellation #6: Sealed Stone
This constellation is the one completed during the quest Troll Studying Steles when you are prompted to use the Constellation Helm.
Constellation #7: Ship
Located in Delesyia, on a pillar in the ocean directly south of the A in DEWHAVEN.

Constellation #8: Elephant
Located in Delesyia, directly east of Yulgear Hearth near the SNAKETAIL WALL map text.
Stand near the edge of the platform, around 4x long away from the east edge as you are from the south. Look up directly southeast to spot the constellation, shaped like an upside-down lowercase “e”.
Constellation #9: Camel
Located in Crimson Desert, this is in the large area named FORGOTTEN CITY that doesn’t have any specifically marked locations, but is in the middle of 3 Abyss Cressets.
This is the ruin that’s south of the giant sand pit. Find the northern floor section with the rectangle in the middle, and then stand on the northeast corner at the end of the small broken wall on the ground.
Look up to the southeast to find the constellation shaped like a slanted “Z”.
Constellation #10: Goblin
Located in Pailune, this is the unmarked section of standing stones at the dead-end path south of the Spire of Ringing Truth. Note that if you haven’t yet defeated Priscus the Ancient then he will appear and attack you in this location.
Stand slightly southeast of the southern stone with the hole at the top, and look straight up toward the Spire to spot the constellation. You have to aim below this one to register in this spot.
Constellation #11: Black Dragon
Located in Hernand, this is just south of the pond, immediately west of Spire of Insight.
Climb up on top of the rock, and stand in the northeast corner on the slightly lower ledge. Look up to the southeast to spot the constellation, aim at the bottom left corner.
Constellation #12: Giant
Located in Crimson Desert, this is east of the Spire of the Sun, near another group of standing stones.
You want to stand slightly southeast of the northern stone, in line with the one to the southwest.
Look up directly to the west, aim slightly left of the constellation.
Constellation #13: Key
Located in Delesyia, this is on an unmarked ruin in HORSESHOE LAKE, north of Bravgork Shipyard.
Stand directly in the middle of the square platform and look up to the north. The constellation is shaped like a “2”, and should be positioned so that it is basically touching the other already completed one. Aim slightly up and left of it.
