Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Hunter of Beasts Walkthrough (Gorm Location)

Hunter of Beasts is a Main Quest in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla (ACV). This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Hunter of Beasts Quest.

Recommended Level: 0 (any level)
Reward: 3400 XP, Order of the Ancients clues, Crystal Ball
Mission Info: After gaining help from Olav and the locals, Eivor ventures into the wilds after Gorm.

Objectives:

• Find and assassinate Gorm
  • Gorm has set up camps for his venture
  • Obtain gear by trading with the locals

Optional: Obtain gear by trading with the locals

If you’d like, you can talk to any of the vendors marked on the map by a sack icon. The only thing you’ll be able to afford right away is the Club weapon. This is completely optional and actually your bare hands do much more damage than this weapon. Therefore, it’s recommended to go barehanded for this quest and skip the weapon. It’s not needed to finish the quest. If you want to see the items available, a vendor is right at the quest start. All vendors in Vinland share the exact same inventory, no need to check different ones. Even if you buy something from them the objective won’t go away.

Find and assassinate Gorm (Gorm Location)

This quest doesn’t give you any waypoint markers on the map. It may seem like it’s bugged but this is intentional. Normally, the game wants you to find Gorm’s location yourself by uncovering the map and going to all named camp locations (you can see camp names when fully zooming in on the map).

Gorm is located in the western-most camp called Narfljot Camp.

Here’s the Gorm Location:

He’s standing in the middle of the camp and holding a golden glowing orb. You can scan for him by pressing / to see a green outline around him.

Assassinate Gorm by any means you see fit. After confirming the kill (if you take him out in melee, hold / on his body), it will play a cutscene and the quest will end.

This finishes Hunter of Beasts quest in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla (ACV). All that’s left to do in Vinland is to report back to some NPCs and then you will sail back to England. You can still return here via the world map at any time to finish side activities.
