In Ashes is the 2nd main mission in Crimson Desert. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the In Ashes main quest. Note that a quest with the same name also exists in Chapter 6, this page is specifically for the Prologue version of the quest (different quests, same name).

- Chapter: Prologue – Dead of Night
- Sub-Chapter: Ambush
- Requirement: Finished previous main quest Unfamiliar Lands
- Reward: None
- Quest Description: The Black Bears’ ambush scattered the Greymanes before anyone could count the survivors.
Objectives:
- Annihilate the Black Bears
- Help Naira
- Help Oongka
- Help Yann
Annihilate the Black Bears
When you gain control of your character at the start of the mission you will have to fight 5 enemies. Take them out using the combat being taught to you. You use light attacks with 
/ 
and heavy attacks with 
/ 
.
Help Naira
Once you have defeated all of the enemies look on the minimap in the bottom left corner. You will see three highlighted circles, Naira is located in the Northern most highlighted circle. Head there and there will be 8 enemies fighting Naira. Approaching them will initiate a cutscenes and put you in combat with the enemies.
Help Oongka
Oongka is at the highlighted section on the Eastern side. As with Naira approach where Oongka is for a cutscenes to start. Once it is over defeat the few remaining enemies.
Help Yann
Yann is located on the Western side of the area in the highlighted section. Approach the highlighted area for another cutscene. Once the cutscene is over take out the remaining enemies.
You then fight a boss called Myurdin. It doesn’t matter if you defeat him or not, you get the same cutscene either way.
This finishes In Ashes in Crimson Desert.
