Hidden Fangs is the 78th main mission in Crimson Desert. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Hidden Fangs main quest.
- Starting Location: Hernand region
- Chapter: 6: Cracks in the Shield
- Sub-Chapter: Blazing Beacon
- Requirement: Finished previous main quest In Ashes
- Reward: None
- Quest Description: You’ve discovered why the Black Bears are so emboldened. Their devastating war machine was behind the ruthless shelling that leveled their own camp. Seek out the weapon and reduce it to scrap.
Objectives:
- Destroy the Black Bears’ battle weapons (x5)

This quest requires you to find and destroy 5 battle tanks. Be sure to track the quest to see a red search area. The battle weapons look like round wooden tanks that shoot cannons when you go near them.
You must shoot a Whistling Arrow at them – hold 
and at the bottom press 
/ 
on the arrows to select it. Then shoot it by holding and releasing 
/ 
. This will cause an air bombardment to destroy the tank.
If you run out of whistling arrows, return to any of the friendly encampments in the area, for example the one in the south-west of the red search area:
The battle tanks drive around the open fields in the south of the red search area, except one which is closer to the center. The easiest method is to ride around on the horse to skip past the enemies, shoot an arrow, quickly ride away to look for the next tank.
Note: This is also a fantastic spot to farm Abyss Artifacts (Skill Points). The enemies will respawn here if you die. The yellow bar to the left of the minimap is your Artifact unlock progression, it increases whenever you kill enemies. If you use the Tauria Curved Sword with (from Chapter 5 boss), you do big area damage to kill enemies fast. You can also lure enemies together and shoot a Whistling Arrow at them to instakill them. You can farm an Artifact every 5 minutes or so in this area.
Here are the 5 Black Bears Battle Weapon (Tank) Locations – they drive around slightly so check the general areas:
Battle Weapon #1 & #2 (close together, driving around same field)

Battle Weapon #4
Battle Weapon #5
After destroying all 5, a cutscene will start automatically.
This finishes Hidden Fangs in Crimson Desert.
