Crimson Desert Bared Fang Walkthrough

Bared Fang is the 87th main mission in Crimson Desert. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Bared Fang main quest.

• Sub-Chapter: Dawn Mist
• Requirement: Finished previous main quest Trust Lost
• Reward: None
• Quest Description: Torstein and the Blue Fangs have been operating out of Beighen, preparing to retake Pailune. He never gave up hope, quietly sharpening his blade for the liberation of his homeland.

Objectives:

1. Eavesdrop on Beighen villagers’ conversation
2. Find a way to make contact with the secret organization
3. Find a clue about the underground storage
4. Find a clue about the mysterious faction
5. Find a clue about the leader of the Blue Fangs

Eavesdrop on Beighen villagers’ conversation / Find a clue about the underground storage

Go to the quest marker on the east edge of Beighen village. Go behind the red hut to get a tutorial popup on eavesdropping. However, the tutorial is slightly misleading and incomplete.

You must LEAN against a wall with and then hold / to aim at the people you want to eavesdrop on. The in-game tutorial forgets to mention that you must lean against a wall, or else it won’t count as eavesdropping.

For this quest, there are two men in the red-painted barn. You must lean against the outer wall of the barn, wait for the “Learning in progress” to finish. When you’re in the correct spot near the wall, the  prompt will appear in the bottom right corner automatically, this causes you to learn against the wall and overhear the men talking.

DON’T look through the window behind the barn with / , this won’t work. You must lean against the other side of the barn (outside) that doesn’t have a window, not the back with the open window. This can be somewhat counterintuitive.

Find a way to make contact with the secret organization

Go to the quest marker in the west of the village. Talk to the guard in front of the door.

You’ll want to exhaust all dialogues here and pick the “Lie” options (not Truth).

1. The Truth of the Underground Storage
2. Lie – Secret Society’s Base
3. Mysterious Faction within Beighen
4. Lie – Beighen Tribe
5. -> You will be missing the required info at this point. Quit out or pick the “Truth” option, then a new objective should appear in the middle of the village.

Find a clue about the mysterious faction

Go to the new quest marker in the middle of the village. You must eavesdrop again. Enter the empty shop/house, lean against the wall where the / prompt comes up to overhear the person outside the house. So you’ll be in the house, the other person will be on the other side of the wall outside.

Talk to the same guy from before:

1. Mysterious Faction within Beighen
2. Lie – Blue Fangs
3. Leader of the Blue Fangs
4. Lie – Jian

Quit out of the dialogue, another clue objective appears nearby.

Find a clue about the leader of the Blue Fangs

You will get a marker on one of the red huts just a few meters in front of where you talked to the guy. Lean against the wall to eavesdrop on the people inside the hut.

Talk to the guy one more time:

1. Leader of the Blue Fangs
2. Lie – Torstein

Then the objective to make contact with the secret organization completes. You can now go past the guards to the left of the guy and open the trapdoor in the ground. Climb down to get a cutscene.

This finishes Bared Fang in Crimson Desert.
