Rebel Suppression is the 114th main mission in Crimson Desert. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Rebel Suppression main quest.
- Starting Location: Hernand region
- Chapter: 8 – Blood Coronation
- Sub-Chapter: To Demeniss
- Requirement: Finished previous main quest Preparations for Advance
- Reward: None
- Quest Description: The destruction of the siege towers has stalled the rebels’ advance. Your forces have now fully surrounded the enemy, effectively cutting off their escape and sealing their fate.
Objectives:
- Destroy the siege towers (x3)
- Defeat the rebels
Destroy the siege towers (x3) / Defeat the rebels
A big battle will start. The goal is to bring the enemy % bar on the left side to 0% and you have to destroy all 3 siege towers in the area Depleting the enemy forces can by done by any means. Running to the quest marker in the upper castle won’t do anything, you have to defeat the enemies first.
The siege towers are easy to spot, they are tall wooden towers. You can shoot them with a cannon when one is nearby, or set them on fire with Focused Light (L1+R1 > hold L1 / LB+RB > hold LB / CTRL + Left Click > CTRL), once they’re on fire use Turning Slash skill (R1+R2 / RB+RT / Left Click + Right Click). Repeat this a few times until the towers are destroyed.
Note: This is also the best opportunity to complete Battle Challenge 6: Into the Barrage for defeating 5 enemies with 1 cannon shot. Make a manual save before destroying the siege towers. Then use a cannon to hit 5 enemies in a siege tower at once, it’s a bit finicky and can take multiple tries. There are very limited spots to do this challenge and this is the best location, see the video below.
At the first siege tower you will also find the Cursed Knight Boss, he is very strong and uses a shield. If you damage him a little bit he will disappear and respawns at the other Siege Towers. Try not to die so you don’t lose progress. This is also why you should bring 200+ Grilled Meat to this quest so you can heal during battle and the boss fight in the upcoming quest.
You can also bring the enemy forces to 0% by “farming” enemy kills. When you run back and forth through the entire area, some enemies will respawn in the later sections of the castle so you can kill them again and it further reduces the enemy %.
There are also many enemies on horses here. Don’t stay behind them, their horse will kick you. Stay to their side or front. Some enemies will also grapple you, when they do get ready to counter with the QTE
/
. Some enemies hit pretty hard here, so try to stay above 50% health to not accidentally get killed by grappling enemies.
The sword “Tauria Curved Sword” with
/
heavy attack is very good for crowd control here (was reward from Boss “Crowcaller”).
It’s a long battle and you’ll have to kill hundreds of enemies. When the enemy % reaches 0% you get a cutscene and the quest is done.
This finishes Rebel Suppression in Crimson Desert.

For me Destroy the siege towers is not optional, I can’t skip it neither complete it. There’s either bug – no cannons around or towers can’t be destroyed. Dropped the game for the better times.
PowerPyx says
When I did it, I didn’t have to destroy any of the siege towers at all. I just farmed enemies for half an hour and when the counter hit 0% I got the cutscene right away and the objective for destroying 3 towers was autocompleted in journal.
Wonder if that’s something they messed around with in patches.

I couldn’t find the cannons. But you can set the towers on fire using the flame strike skill (you need to complete the spire of ringing truth to get it). You might also be able to use fire arrows but I didnt try.

Looks like it changed in recently update. Btw, tower can be simply burning down using fire arrows or light reflection ability. At least I was only able to destroy one tower using cannon, there were no cannon anywhere around two other towers :/ Quite buggy quest.
PowerPyx says
Burning them down is what I had tried but appeared to be buggy. They would visible burn but the towers didn’t get destroyed, the enemies just disappeared but the tower remained. Guess this was another buggy thing on older patch. They keep changing stuff every day.
I’ve added a tip to try burning the towers too.
PowerPyx says
Rechecked the quest on Patch 1.02.00 as of April 5th, 2026. Destroying the Siege Towers is no longer optional, is mandatory now. The towers that don’t have a cannon nearby can be destroyed with Focused Light and Turning Slash skill.
Updated in the walkthrough now.
