Scholastone is the 54th main mission in Crimson Desert. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Scholastone main quest.
- Starting Location: Hernand region
- Chapter: 4 – The Price of Knowledge
- Sub-Chapter: Forbidden Knowledge
- Requirement: Finished previous main quest The Words of Alustin
- Reward: Scholastone Uniform
- Quest Description: Between the treacherous terrain and the concealed entrance, it was clear that this secret location was nearly impossible to reach through normal means. After changing into the clothes Alustin prepared, a troll scholar revealed the way to Scholastone Institute.
Objectives:
- Visit the fence
- Head to Scholastone
- Find out Scholastone Institute’s location
- Find the path to Scholastone Institute
Visit the fence
The fence is a goblin merchant in Hernand, inside a building on the upper floor. Enter through the front door, talk to him upstairs.
Head to Scholastone
Scholastone is a long way away. Go to the map marker south-west from Hernand town. When you get to the quest marker, climb over the mountain. You can quickly scale tall cliffs by using 3 Force Palms in midair (jump and press 
3 times).
On the other side of the mountain drop down to the stone gate to finish this objective.
Find out Scholastone Institute’s location
Equip the “Scholastone Uniform” from the Inventory
Near where you arrive, talk to the man standing in front of the stone pyramid while wearing Scholastone Uniform. He will show you around the area, follow him. When he stops at the cliffs, wait for him to finish talking.
Find the path to Scholastone Institute
You have to go the rest of the way by yourself, toward the tall tower on the mountain.
It’s a long walk. As you get close to the location, the next quest will automatically start.
This finishes Scholastone in Crimson Desert.

I can’t interact with the man standing in front of the stone at all. I try to reload,fast travel and respawn. It just does not work. I can’t progress the main quest. Is there way to solve this?

One thing to check there: try equipping the Scholastone Uniform, should be in inventory at start of quest. Similar to having to wear Hernandian Attire to get into the castle. If it works let me know, if not it might just be buggy.

I would update this and advise people to go up the path to the quest marker (instead of over the mountain) where there is a little hole to duck into. You can pick up the focused force palm skill behind that and there are two practice walls you can then use the skill on to go through or under the mountain.
You can stash the abyss cells (the round objects that are inside the wall and cause it to explode upon using the skill) in your kuku pot.
