To repair the pensive statue is an objective in Crimson Desert, Chapter 9, Main Quest: Jijeong Temple in Chaos.
You need to repair 3 pensive statues total during this quest.
Repair the first pensive statue
- The pensive statues are missing both hands. You must find the stone hands near the statue, indicated on the minimap by white hand icons.
- Use Axiom Force (
/ TAB) to place the hands at the statue (a green mist will appear when they are placed correctly). - Then use Force Palm to connect the hand to the statue (
/ Mouse Wheel). Landing Force Palm can be finicky and may take many tries. The easiest option is to use the skill “Force Current” if you have it (press
/ Mouse Wheel while using Axiom Force). - If you don’t have “Force Current”, you can also do it with just regular Force Palm. Sometimes it’s easier to use Focused Force Palm from a distance (do a Force Palm while recharging Spirit), and sometimes it’s easier to climb up the statue and do a regular Force Palm from up close. Try hitting the hands from different angles. Try with Focused Force Palm while standing on the ground in front of the statue, and try climbing on the statue’s legs and using regular Force Palm from different angles.
- When lining up the hands to the statue, it’s easiest to stand to the side of the statue to see where the cracks align. Quit out of Axiom Force and the hand will float in the air, then hit it with Force Palm. As long as there’s a green glow around the hand it’s in the correct position.
Also refer to the video above for possible angles from which to use Force Palm. The controls can be very finicky here. Just keep using Force Palm from different angles until it eventually works. Remember to recharge Spirit with
+
(hold ‘X’ on PC).
Complete First Pensive Statue:
Right Hand (the Statue’s Right, your Left when facing it from front):
When facing the statue, check the floor on the left. Grab the hand with Axiom Force. When aiming at it, you will notice the Axiom Cursor turns from dark blue to bright blue, indicating it’s an interactable object.
Walk left of the statue to align the hand. Quit out of Axiom Force, the hand will float, hit it with Force Palm. This is the trickiest of all hands to land Force Palm on, for me it worked when standing on top of the statue’s legs and hitting the hand from the left.
Left Hand (the Statue’s Left, your Right when facing it from front):
Found across from the statue (in the direction the statue is facing), slightly north at the end of the same island.
Repair the second pensive statue
The second pensive statue is on top of a high mountain. Land on the path around the mountain and follow the stairs to the top.
Complete Second Pensive Statue:
Statue Body:
This time you also need to find the Statue’s Body. It’s on the cliff below the top of the mountain. Use Axiom Force to put it on the pedestal and have it face toward the two torches. Then climb up and while standing on the statue, hit it with Force Palm.
Right Hand (the Statue’s Right, your Left when facing it from front):
On the cliff directly left of the statue.
Left Hand (the Statue’s Left, your Right when facing it from front):
On the cliff directly below where you picked up the first hand. Stand at the top of the cliff and shoot Axiom Force down at it, then pull the hand toward you up the cliff.
Repair the third pensive statue
The third pensive statue is near the ground by the water, in a little cave section. Approach from the central island slightly north of the objective marker, from there you can glide over to the stairs leading up the cave.
Complete Third Pensive Statue:
Right Hand (the Statue’s Right, your Left when facing it from front):
Across from the statue on a little cliff. Glide over, then use Axiom Force to drop it off in the cave, glide back over.
Left Hand (the Statue’s Left, your Right when facing it from front):
Directly in front of the statue on the floor.
As soon as you repair the third statue, the mission will be finished.
