Skyloop Bridge Location
Skyloop Bridge is entered from the location Spire of Ringing Truth > Ether Rest > Frostbitten Paradise > Path of Trials > Sanctorum of Darkness > Loop of Life > Tree of Slumber. It is part of the Sleet Isles cluster.
Skyloop Bridge Solution
The path to Skyloop Bridge is a series of platform to jump across and ride, along with some fans to allow you to glide between platforms. Note the platform at the bottom of the pillar ahead.
You can glide down to the lower part of the first platform with fans, avoiding the open spaces, and there is a treasure chest that you can grab. Climb up to the middle section without gliding in front of the fans, and use your bow along with Focused Shot to mark all five of the buttons above the two fans. This turns off the big fans, allowing you to glide down to the chest which contains 1x Faded Abyss Artifact and 1x Vitality III.
You can then glide back across the gap and continue climbing up and progressing toward the teleporter, then follow the path toward the Abyss Nexus.
The puzzle in this area is repairing the three rings on the far left and both right side pillars in the same way the close left one is. This puzzle can be a bit finicky, and if you fall out of the Abyss it resets the entire puzzle, so you want to be careful throughout this entire section.
You can either just jump and Force Palm in the air to boost yourself then glide around, or use the “intended” mechanic with the controllable platform which will be explained here.
The controllable platform is the small platform attached to the yellow lit up pillar in front of you from the Abyss Nexus. Stand on it, then use Axiom Force on the socket on the pillar. This will bring you to an overhead view, where you can select which pillar you want to control with
and
. The pillar you are controlling will light up blue, then press
to pull the platform you are standing on toward it.
The order you do these sections doesn’t matter, but the guide will work around clockwise. If you’re using the pillar movement mechanic select the one on the left, and move the platform there.
Jump up to the higher platform ahead to reach the first main pillar.
The goal for each of these pillars is to fill in the full circle with the floating debris pieces around the area. For this pillar, grab the biggest section using Axiom Force, then move it toward the central ring. You don’t need to place these with Force Palm / Axiom Force like other puzzles just fitting them close enough and they’ll get sucked into place when correct. If they don’t get sucked in, try grabbing them again and moving them around a bit and letting go, then see if they are pulled into place.
Then grab the nearby small piece and move it into place. You will probably need to glide across to the other side to move it high enough.
Once all pieces are put in place, the circle will have a field through the middle.
Next we’re going to the west pillar. You can use the movement platform if you want, or just jump and glide across to it.
This circle is completely empty, so you need to grab three pieces total. First, you can grab the largest one that is high up above.
Then any of the three medium sized pieces that are floating around.
Then the small piece that is close to the pillar.
Finally you have to go down to the right of the starting platform (left facing back to it). This one already has the large piece in, so repeat the process grabbing a medium and the small piece to complete the circle. DO NOT TOUCH YOUR CONTROLS after you slot in the last piece. While the cutscene occurs showing the button becoming active it is still possible to move your character, and you can walk off the edge of the platform accidentally. If you do this and fall out of the Abyss you will need to do the entire puzzle again.
When you have the button activated, CAREFULLY make your way over to it. Remember to hold
while climbing before using Force Palm to stop yourself being blasted off. You can then climb up to the platform above to collect the Abyss Artifact and complete the puzzle.
Afterward, you will need to solve a puzzle on the ground called Root’s End Ruins, needed to reach the next Abyss.
