Crimson Desert Root’s End Ruins Puzzle Solution

Root’s End Ruins Puzzle is an Abyss Restoration Challenge in Crimson Desert. This guide shows the Root’s End Ruins puzzle location and solution.

Root’s End Ruins Location

Root’s End Ruins is entered from the location of either Ice Cradle or Skyloop Bridge if you are completing the Abyss puzzles. You can also encounter it and complete it without finishing either of these Abyss areas. This is the top of the hill slightly northeast of THE SAGE’S PEAK map text.

Root’s End Ruins Solution

Go to the west side of the area following the power cables, then drop down where you can find a cave leading into the mountain. You will gain the knowledge of the Ancient Sealed Gate location.

Go to the north side of the area and interact with the button on the wall to activate the elevator up. Then you can use Axiom Force (hold / TAB key) to interact with the socket on the balcony.

Now you will be controlling the pillar in the middle of the room for the rest of the puzzle. In this area there are three gears on the ceiling. You need to move the central pillar to them, and then turn them to specific spots.

Move the pillar to one of the gears, then interact to bring the gear up to operate it. You now need to rotate the gear left or right. The correct position to rotate it is represented by an audio cue when the upper gear is in the correct spot. Note this is not when the gear stops and sparks come out.

Repeat the same thing with the other two gears. Once you have all three positioned correctly the middle gear will light up and drop down. You can then move the mechanism to it and repeat the process of turning it, which will show a scene of the top of the hill.

Go back outside to the platform and stand in the middle. This will activate the giant fan, which you can glide up to the Abyss area Twisted Thicketway.
