Golden Calves is a side mission in Borderlands 3 (BL3). This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Golden Calves Side Quest.
Golden Calves is unlocked shortly after you’ve started Cult Following.
Planet: Pandora
Area: The Droughts / Ascension Bluff
Quest Giver: Vaughn / COV Statue in Crimson Command
Requirement: having started Cult Following
Recommended Level: 8
Reward: 445$ / 791XP / Rare Shield “Golden Touch” Lvl Req. 8
Mission Info: What’s this? A little COV statue? Help Vaughn stick it to the SOV and replace these ugly things with something a little more glorious.

Starting Location: Golden Calves
Find Poster with Profile View
This mission appears shortly after starting Cult Following. You can accept it via a small statue in the Safehouse.
Vaughn wants us to find a total of three posters depicting him; located in Ascension Bluff.
Of course, they will be in areas with enemies in them. Shoot your way through the compound – the first one is located close to the entrance on the left side, next to a door.
Find Poster with Intimate View
The second picture is located on a Black Board across the walkway/bridge.
Find Poster with Front View
The third picture is hanging on a Tower further north into the complex.
Go to 3D Printing Plant
Now where we got all the Pictures, Vaughn wants us to print 3D Statues of them. The Printing Plant is located even a bit further to the North.
Locate Scanner
The Scanner is in an open house/garage-area across yet another bridge and of course guarded by a few enemies.
Use Scanner
Approach the Scanner and put the pictures in them.
Admire your work
The printed Statues will come out on the right side of the machine. Take in their glory.
Smash COV Statue (1)
Now we need to replace a total of three Statues with our shiny new ones. The first would be to the right of the machine, on a shelf. Shoot it to be able to replace it.
Replace with Vaughn Statue (1)
Much better now!
Smash COV Statue (2)
There are many places with Statues marked on the map – some are fairly close. Like the back of a truck just a few metres away.
Replace with Vaughn Statue (2)
Once you shot down the old statue, replace it with Vaughn.
Smash COV Statue (3)
A third opportunity is close to the last bridge we’ve passed a bit earlier – located on a table.
Replace with Vaughn Statue (3)
Do Vaughn a third favor and we are pretty much done.
Talk to Vaughn
We only need to talk to him once again to turn in this mission.
