Starting Location: Atlas, At Last

Go to Meridian Metroplex

After some short talk with Rhys, he asks you to head down to the Metroplex area to meet him. Head down to the fast travel point to proceed.

Head to Secret Atlas HQ Entrance

Once you’re in the area Rhys marks the secret HQ entrance on the map for you, head over there.

Get Vault Key Fragment from Rhys

Head down to the entrance and head into Atlas HQ.

Head inside the building proper and follow the objective markers.

Reboot Defense Cannons

Katagawa manages to get the buildings defenses turned off, and you now have to get them up and running again. Some enemies will immediately start spawning into the area for you to take out, you will have help from a number of Atlas soldiers though. Keep moving forward, taking out the waves of enemies on your way to the turrets.

Eventually you’ll reach the maintenance area that will have a few Ratch enemies in it to kill.

Destroy Nullhound Inhibiting Turrets

You’ll run across a new enemy called a Nullhound, which are mechanical dogs that will run around and put out a large area of effect shock attack. Destroy the one here.

Reboot Defense Cannons

Head over to the console and activate it.

Head to Final Defense Control

Now that the front turrets are up, you need to head to the rear defenses to get those running again. Proceed along the walkway taking out anything in your way. Once reach the main building you can search the side rooms for some loot, along with upstairs on either side as well. Once you’re finished you can then continue towards the back to head to the objective.

Once you reach the next large area you’ll have another Arbalest to fight, along with more Maliwan grunts. Once you take it out you’ll get a new objective.

Destroy Nullhounds Inhibiting Turrets

You’ll have some more Nullhounds spawned in that you need to destroy before you can reactivate the turrets.

Reboot Defense Cannons

Head to the console at the back and activate it to turn the remaining defenses back on.

Hold off Maliwan Forces

The turrets are having a bad day, so head out into the courtyard yourself and hold off the Maliwan troops while Rhys tries to get the space laser ready to take out the Maliwan command ship. There are a number of turrets around the area that you can use to take out the enemies with if you wish.

Take Elevator to Rhys’ Office

Once Rhys manages to shoot the command ship with the laser, you find out that Zer0 was actually really not on your side the whole time, as much as Rhys thought he was. Head back in the building and take the elevator upstairs.

Meet Rhys in his Office

Head all the way back to where Rhys’ office is.

Reveal Secret Path

Interact with the lamp on the desk to open the secret passageway.

Follow Rhys Down to Rooftop

Entering this drop leads to the boss for this mission, so grab any ammo around that you need before heading in.

Defeat Katagawa Jr.

Shocker, it actually wasn’t Zer0, but Katagawa in a similar suit. The deal with this fight is that Katagawa summons a number of effectively clones of himself instead of normal enemies. Take out clones as they show up, then eventually the real Katagawa will come attack you himself before warping away and summoning more clones.  Keep taking out the clones and shooting him, and eventually he’ll actually explode, giving you your shower of loot.

Meet Up with Rhys

Head back inside to meet with Rhys and Zer0.

Choice: Choose to Keep Stache or Choose to Lose Stache

You can now pick whether you want Rhys to keep his mustache on or not. Choose whichever you wish, it doesn’t affect rewards or anything after this point.

Collect Vault Key Fragment

Grab the last Vault Key fragment from Rhys outstretched hand, which completes the mission and gives you your reward.

This finishes Atlas, At Last main mission in Borderlands 3. Now the next quest Beneath the Meridian becomes available.
