Borderlands 3 Wildlife Conservation Side Mission Walkthrough

Wildlife Conservation is a side mission in Borderlands 3 (BL3). This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Wildlife Conservation Side Quest.

Wildlife Conservation is unlocked when you complete Life of the Party.

Area: Konrad’s Hold
Quest Giver: Brick
Requirement: Complete Life of the Party
Recommended Level: 33
Reward: $10,101 + 9,341 XP + The Hunter(er) unique sniper rifle
Mission Info: Brick noticed Talon wasn’t in her usual spot, and he wants you to find her before Mordecai notices and freaks out. Don’t worry, he’ll keep Mordecai busy with very important work in the meantime.

• Look for Talon
• Follow blood trail
• Collect explosives: 0/5
• Load explosives into cart
• Launch minecart
• Follow Talon
• Kill Varkids
• Follow Talon
• Go to Devil’s Razor
• Speak to Brick
• Follow Brick
• Speak to Mordecai

Starting Location: Wildlife Conservation

Look for Talon

Talon seems to have went into the mines, head over there.

Follow Blood Trail

There is a blood trail leading into the mine that you should follow. Head into the mines and over to the marked door and interact with the switch.

Collect Explosives: 0/5

You now need to find some explosives around the mine to get through the door.

The first one turn right around and you should see if propped on the side of the metal beams.

Head up the hill toward the East, you should see the second one between the wall and a varkid nest.

Head forward under the half open door, then to the end of the tunnel where you’ll see the third on a box beside a varkid spawn.

Crawl over the rocks blocking the next doorway, then you should see the fourth explosive just to the right of the pillar.

Head back up into the main room, and stand behind the mine cart facing South. If you look at the two barrels you should see the final one sitting between them and the ledge.

Load Explosives into Cart

Head over to the minecart and place all your explosives in it.

Launch Minecart

Send the minecart on it’s way by shooting the now glowing red tank on the back.

Follow Talon

Head into the opening and you’ll find Talon on a box, but she’ll fly away. Follow her into the tunnel and then out the other side.

Kill Varkids

Once you’re outside again, you’ll have to clear the area of all the varkids.

Follow Talon

Talon will come down and grab a goliath head and spine off the ground, then fly off. Keep following her.

Go to Devil’s Razor

Once you get out near the main area again your objective will change to go to Devil’s Razor. Fast travel yourself to the Devil’s Razor – Boomtown point.

Speak to Brick

When you’re at Boomtown, go speak to Brick.

Follow Brick

Brick says Talon flew by and Mordecai went after her, follow him.

Speak to Mordecai

When you find them, go over and speak to Mordecai to complete the mission and get your reward.

This finishes Wildlife Conservation side mission in Borderlands 3.
