Borderlands 3 Cannonization Side Mission Walkthrough

Cannonization is a side mission in Borderlands 3 (BL3). This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Cannonization Side Quest.

Cannonization is unlocked when you complete The First Vault Hunter.

Requirement: Complete The First Vault Hunter

Reward: $6,039 + 8,361 XP + E-Gone unique rare gun
Mission Info: Help Grouse build the dark cannon of his dreams.

Objectives:

• Take energy trap
• To to Temple
• Place energy trap
• Fill energy trap with spirits: 0/6
• Collect energy trap
• Destroy cyclone
• Get stabilizer
• Destroy outrunner
• Get shock absorber
• Return to research center
• Place weapon parts: 0/2
• Place energy trap
• Back up!
• Pick up cannon

Starting Location: Cannonization

Take Energy Trap

Grab the marked item from the nearby table.

Go to Temple

Head out, grab a vehicle, and drive over to the indicated area.

Place Energy Trap

Once you’re inside the Temple, place the trap in the marked location.

Fill Energy Trap with Spirits: 0/6

Placing the trap causes guardians to start spawning, kill six of them to fill the trap.

Collect Energy Trap

When all the guardians are dead and the trap is full, go pick it up.

Destroy Cyclone

Head back to your vehicle, you now need to drive around the area and look for a Cyclone to destroy (the large single wheel).

Get Stabilizer

Get out and grab the item it drops.

Destroy Outrunner

You also need to look for an Outrunner to destroy (the normal buggy vehicle).

Get Shock Absorber

Once it’s destroyed, get out and grab the item it leaves behind.

Return to Research Center

Once you have both items, return to Grouse.

Place Weapon Parts: 0/2

Attach the parts the the weapon on the table.

Place Energy Trap

Attach the trap to the console to the left of Grouse.

Back Up!

Head to either one of the two marked spots before the trap explodes.

Pick up Cannon

Go back over and grab your now complete gun off the table to complete the mission.

This finishes Cannonization side mission in Borderlands 3. Now the next quest Bad Vibrations becomes available.
