There are 9 Faction Contribution Shops in Crimson Desert for the 5 different factions. Each Faction lets you gain Repuation Points by doing quests for them. The Reputation Points can then be exchanged at the Faction Merchants for their exclusive armor pieces. The faction items don’t cost any money, only reputation, and can be traded back and forth freely to get your points back to spend them on other items. The faction items share largely the same base stats and are primarily cosmetic differences, but some offer more protection from certain elements (cold, hot weather etc).
On the world map’s “Environment” tab the contribution shops are indicated by question marks (“?”) after unfogging the map. Two of them are behind locked doors which can be opened with any Key dropped by enemies or bought from Back Alley Shops.
The 5 factions are: Hernandian, Demenissian, Pailunese, Delesyian, Tashkalp.
Hernandian Faction Vendors
Contribution Shop #1: Hernand Castle – wear the Hernandian Attire to be let through the gate into the castle. Then enter the little guard tower of the inner courtyard to find the vendor.
Contribution Shop #2: Scholastone Institute – in the northern tract of Scholastone through the big gate in the entry hall. Shares the same reputation points as Hernand Castle.
Pailunese Faction Vendors
Contribution Shop #3: Pailune Town – only available after story chapter 7
Demeniss Faction Vendors
Contribution Shop #4: Demeniss City Main Shop (Valentine’s Shop) – inside Demeniss Castle. The area is hostile until you finish story chapter 12. Afterward you can walk through the front gate of the castle, then take the right path, at the end of the hallway go up the wooden stairs to find a locked door. Use any key on the locked wooden door. You can use any random key dropped by enemies or buy one from any Back Alley Shop (keys can be used to open any door and aren’t bound to specific doors).
Contribution Shop #5: Demeniss City Horse Armor (Cobrin’s Shop) – in a house upstairs in Demeniss city.
Contribution Shop #6: Demeniss Cathedral – inside the cathedral of Demeniss City, talk to the priest.
Delesyian Faction Vendors
Contribution Shop #7: Delesyia Castle – wear the Visione Helmet to be let through the gate into the castle. Then use any key on the locked door at the northern edge of the castle grounds. You can use any random key dropped by enemies or buy one from any Back Alley Shop (keys can be used to open any door and aren’t bound to specific doors).
Tashkalp Faction Vendors
Contribution Shop #8: Tashkalp (Tommaso Town) – in a house in the town in Tashkalp (in the south of Crimson Desert region)
Contribution Shop #9: Varnia – in a house in the town of Varnia (in the north of Crimson Desert region). Shares the same reputation points as Tashkalp.
