There are 10 Dyehouses in Crimson Desert. Finding all Dyehouses and talking to their shopkeeper is needed for Challenge: Trade 2 – Rainbow Mane. Completing the Challenge is one of the requirements for The Golden Merchant trophy & achievement.
You only need to talk to each shopkeeper at the Dyehouses to satisfy the challenge requirements and it will count retroactively if you find the challenge later. Buying the dyes isn’t necessary, but is of course useful if you want to change the coloring of your armor. The Dyehouses are where you apply different colors to your outfit. After upgrading your Greymane Camp enough, you can also find a Dye NPC at camp that sells all dyes of every Dyehouses you’ve found.
Hernand
Dyehouse #1: Dark Red Dye – south-east of Hernand Castle
Dyehouse #2: Yellow Dye – inside Pororin Village, must do Faction Quest: The Unreachable Village to be allowed into the village (otherwise you will always get a cutscene where you get tossed out).
Dyehouse #3: Bright Green Dye – in the north of Hernand in Calphade town
Demeniss
Dyehouse #4: Bright Blue Dye – in the south-west of Demeniss
Dyehouse #5: Bright Violet Dye – in the north-west of Demeniss
Dyehouse #6: Rich Purple Dye – in the east of Demeniss
Pailune
Dyehouse #7: Teal Dye – in Pailune Town, only available after story chapter 7 (before this the town will be hostile)
Delesyia
Dyehouse #8: Deep Sky Blue Dye – just outside Delesyia city
Crimson Desert
Dyehouse #9: Dark Orange Dye – just outside the town in Tashkalp in the south of Crimson Desert
Dyehouse #10: Rich Spring Green Dye – in Varnia town, in the very north of Crimson Desert
