Familiar Curses is the 35th main mission in Crimson Desert. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Familiar Curses main quest.
- Starting Location: Hernand region > Howling Hill
- Chapter: 3 – Howling Hill
- Sub-Chapter: Homestead
- Requirement: Finished previous main quest Return of the Comrade
- Reward: St. Halssius Priest Attire, St. Halssius Priest’s Cloack, St. Halssius Priest’s Leather Footwear, St. Halssius Priest’s Hat
- Quest Description: Rumor is there’s a Greymane who caused a rampage at St. Halssius’s House of Healing. Head to St. Halssius’s House of Healing.

Investigate the House of Healing
Head to the House of Healing east of Hernand:
To gain access to the House of Healing there are multiple ways:
Option 1 – Sneak in
Simply climb over the roofs and sneak through the grass past the enemies. Civilians are allowed to see you, just enemies can’t spot you. Stay crouched to stay unseen.
Option 2 – Church of Healing Pass
As you approach the main marker you will see a highlighted area to the left before crossing the bridge to the House of Healing:
Stop here and interact with the stranger and speak to them:
This will inform you that the Church of Hernand sells entry passes. Head there using this waypoint:
Once you get to the church head inside and there will be a shop inside on the left where you can buy the St. Halssius Visitor Pass.
Option 3 – Purchasing the Outfit
Another option is to head across the bridge and head right, there at the corner of the buildings talk to the man.
He is willing to make a deal with you. You can opt to purchase the Halssius outfit for 10 Silver coins. If you purchase the outfit here put it on to gain access to the House of Healing.
Where to go in House of healing
Regardless of how you get inside, you must go to the main building at the end of the area where lots of people are. On the second floor approach the man fighting patients in the hallway. From where you come it’ll be on the right side above the inner courtyard (the south wing).
If you decided to sneak in without a visitor pass, you can climb up the windows from the inner courtyard to reach the 2nd floor unseen.
Follow Yann
After Yann attacks you he will start running away. Exit through the wooden door at the end of the hallway and follow him over the roof. He then heads into a cottage.
Once he emerges you will need to follow him again. Follow him and hop aboard the Pywell Wagon and take a ride with Yann.
Once you get to the Nas River Fishing Dock and the wagon stops, dismount and head to the highlighted area.
This finishes Familiar Curses in Crimson Desert.
