Dying Light 2 How to Switch Weapons

This quick guide explains how to switch weapons in Dying Light 2. First, you’ll want to go to Inventory > Weapons > assign multiple Weapons to the Weapon Wheel (up to 4).

Then you can open the weapon wheel to quickly switch weapons at any time:

• PlayStation: Hold RIGHT
• Xbox: Hold RIGHT
• Nintendo Switch: Hold RIGHT

Do note that holding UP opens the consumables wheel, holding LEFT opens the equipment wheel.

Another way to switch weapons manually is through the Inventory:

• Open Inventory > Click Weapons > Select an unequipped Weapon from Inventory (right side) to assign it to the Weapon Wheel (4 weapons on left side). This weapon gets automatically equipped now. However, with this option it only works when clicking an unassigned weapon (right) to assign it to your weapon slots (left). If you click an already assigned weapon (left) it doesn’t get equipped, you’d have to unequip it and reequip it from inventory.
