Dying Light 2 The Arrival Walkthrough

The Arrival is a Story Quest (Main Mission) in Dying Light 2. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the The Arrival Story Mission.

Region: Trinity
Quest Giver: Sophie
Requirement: Complete Unruly Brother
Reward: 1500 Combat XP, 250 Parkour XP, Decoy blueprint, 1 Cans, 10 Scraps
Mission Info: Carl insisted that Sophie negotiate with Jack and Joe for access to the water supply. I was to ensure no one got hurt in the process.

Objectives:

  • Go to the meeting place with Jack and Joe’s thugs
  • Kill Jack and Joe’s thugs
  • Find Suzie
  • Search the bodies for crystals

Starting Location: The Arrival

Go to the meeting place with Jack and Joe’s thugs

Head out of the Bazaar and towards the marked meeting place. As soon as you leave the Bazaar Sophie will call and tell you something is up, and you’ll hear about the meeting going wrong.

Kill Jack and Joe’s thugs

When you reach the area there will be a handful of Jack and Joe’s men hanging around. Deal with them to progress the quest.

Find Suzie

You then need to find Suzie to ask what happened. She is leaning up against a yellow crate by a stack of pallets between two of the buildings.

Search the bodies for crystals

A Goliath infected will break through the stack of pallets to attack you, along with the bodies of all of the Survivors around the area being marked for you to search.

You will want to deal with the Goliath first before trying to search bodies. It typically swings the large club around to attack you, doing large swings that you need to dodge out of the way from, they can’t be blocked as they’re all power attacks. Once the Goliath is dealt with you can start going around and searching the marked bodies. Other infected will continue spawning until you have searched all the bodies, so you will just want to clear the ones near to you before searching each body.

After you’ve searched all bodies Sophie will call on the radio again, and the quest will be complete.

This finishes The Arrival story quest in Dying Light 2 Stay Human.
