Meet Frank in the Fish Eye
Head to the Fish Eye to meet Frank and see how he’s doing with the control over the radio.
Frank has information on Waltz that has been intercepted with the radio, so wants you to help strengthen the signal to try and get more information. He also talks some about Lawan, during this conversation you can respond however you want for extra information.
Go to the military antenna
You now need to head to the marked building where you will enable the first antenna.
To reach the top of the building you will be climbing a number of platforms running along the outside. To start, you can get onto the building using a winch on the north side.
Continue up and around the building using the platforms, bars, and your grappling hook. When you reach the first point you can enter the building on the east side make sure you enter and grab the inhibitors from the crate in the second room.
Continue further you will reach a large balcony. You need to go inside the building now and go into the elevator and climb to the top to continue farther.
Continue through the building and then back outside to continue climbing.
Activate the antenna
When you reach the top there is a Nightrunners Hideout, along with a tape that you can grab.
Tape – Journal of a Nightrunner #6
You can then start climbing the antenna. To start, climb up the rotating posts on the leftmost pillar.
You can then use your grapple to reach the next pillar, take the wire over, then climb another set of rotating posts.
Finally, you can swing across another grapple point, then climb another set of posts to reach the top.
Set the proper frequency
After activating the antenna, interact with the box to the left to set the frequency.
Go to the second antenna
Frank asks you to go to another antenna to try and intercept further information. Head over there now.
Kill the Renegades
There will be a set of Renegades hanging out on the rooftop. Deal with them so that you can interact with the antenna.
There is also an airdrop on this rooftop that you can grab if you haven’t prior (or get some new items from if you grabbed it a while ago).
Set the proper frequency
Interact with the generator on the rooftop to “set the proper frequency” on of the antenna.
Go to the old offices on Garrison Boulevard
There will now be an office building in the Garrison area that you need to head to look for the group of Renegades.
On the upper level of the building before heading downstairs you can grab a newspaper memento off an ottoman.
Memento – The (end of ) Times issue #2
You can then head downstairs and interact with the marked door.
Defeat the Renegades
Turns out it was a trap, and the Renegades lured you here.
Deal with the first group, and some more will appear in the room. After dealing with the group Frank will appear, and let you know that Hakon now wants to meet. You can respond to Frank however you want here for more information.
Meet with Hakon
Hakon wants to meet at the Church on Saint Paul Island.
To get inside you can go to the west corner of the building where there is a burning barrel outside an open door.
Climb up into the church, then interact with the board blocking the window to enter the church proper.
Hakon shows up but turns out he just wants the GRE key from you. This first timed choice doesn’t really matter, but the better option is to pick “I don’t want to fight”.
Defeat the Renegades
Hakon summons some Renegades to attack you and attempt to get the key. There will be some on the lower level with you, then a few more on the upper level shooting at you with bows. Deal with them all to continue.
Talk to Hakon
After all the Renegades are dealt with Hakon will appear again downstairs. Go over and speak with him again.
Defeat Hakon
Hakon still wants the key, so now you will have to fight him. Some more Renegades also appear to make the fight more interesting.
Like normal human bosses, you can set Hakon on fire to more easily deal with him.
Search the church for Hakon
Once you get Hakon down to low health you will pass out and he will run off. Before going to find him, you can grab a memento off a nearby bench.
Memento – The Ambush Tactic
To find Hakon, you need to the upper section of the Church. Jump from the middle walkway up to the balcony with the red fabric hanging from it.
Interact with the door on the left.
Hakon knocks you down to the lower level, and you will have to fight him again.
Leave the church
Having defeated Hakon for good, you can now leave the church through the door on ground level.
Just kidding Hakon isn’t dead yet. You now get another choice, but what occurs here is dependent on a prior story choice.
IF you had chosen to help Hakon all the way back in Revolution or Into the Dark and subsequently did the side quest Sniper’s Alley, choosing “Let’s not fight” will result in Hakon backing down.
If you didn’t choose to help Hakon or choose “Come any closer, and I’ll have no choice.”, then Hakon attacks again, resulting in you killing him for good.
If you convince Hakon to back down, then Lawan will appear, wanting to kill Hakon herself.
This is another important choice and affects some of the story ending outcomes.
If you select “Do what you need to do.”, then Lawan kills Hakon herself. This is the obvious bad choice because it results in Hakon dying and then Lawan doesn’t become a Nightrunner.
If you select “Hear me out, Lawan. Don’t do it.” then Lawan will also back down, not killing Hakon and destroying her Kill List. This is the “best” option, as Hakon is still alive for the end of the game.
After the choice, Lawan leaves the church, and now you can too.
Report to Frank
Outside the church, you will automatically speak a bit with Frank, informing him of what has occurred.
Talk to Frank at the Canteen
Head back to the Fish Eye to speak with Frank again.
Head inside and speak with Frank, and you will see the result of the choices you made.
What occurs here depends on what you did prior, but the story still continues mostly the same after. Frank will let you know shortly about the GRE doctor you were looking for.
If you had successfully convinced Lawan not to kill Hakon, Frank will reinstate the Nightrunners, and officially makes Lawan one of them, along with forgiving Hakon. Out on the rooftop, you can choose between speaking with Lawan or just go straight to meet with Veronika.
Talking to Lawan is the “better” option, but it doesn’t really matter whether you stay or not.
If you do say you can have some more conversation with Lawan, talking to her about her current feelings and what has occurred. The story quest will then be finished once you finish the conversation.
This finishes Nightrunners story quest in Dying Light 2 Stay Human.

HenZ says
Maybe you got some decision that not right.. Maybe when Hakon ask you to go ocean together at beginning of the game and you not promised him or etc..
I don’t get a problem with him, he’s alive and join back Nightrunner..
